Doomsday: Hell on Earth OOC

 "Good evening recruits!  You have been chosen from a select few to stop the impending invasion.  As you all know, our home has been under assault from an unknown enemy.  Your mission: Find out who they are, where they came from, what they want, and how to kill them.  It's that simple kids.  Now get out there and win."

You remember your CO giving that speech only a few weeks ago. 

You don't know where he is now...though its probable that he's one of those skins you've seen adorning the enemy's wall.

You have no idea why you're still alive.  Just lucky you guess...or unlucky.  The world you knew ended days ago.  You assume your comrades are dead and pray that your family isn't.

The enemy is everywhere.  On the ground, in the water, in the air, in the dirt, and in your head.

The only silver lining to this is that you've completed the mission you were given.

They're Demons, they're from Hell, they want us dead, and nothing can stop them.

All that is left of your past is the dog tag which hangs around your neck.

((This Rp is based on the DOOM series.  Gabag and I are the GMs and normal RP rules apply.  3 line minimum per post and know that the Demons are experts in death, destruction, and torture.  A quick warning, I am a Godmodder Nazi and will not tolerate it.  You get two warnings and then Cyberdaemon is going to hunt you down and do horribly nasty things to you.  If you have RPed with me before you know what this may mean.  That aside, I want everyone to have some good fun.  Don't be afraid to be morbid with your descriptive posts, remember these are Demons.))

oh yea also wanted to mention a couple things
A list of the demons to see and their characteristics
Zombie: Your average shambler, not too hard to kill, but freakin everywhere

Marine Zombie: Somehow these zombies kept a little bit of their brain, and they know how to take cover and use a gun, not as widespread as your everyday zombie. Can be armed with a pistol, shotgun, assault rifle, and Chaingun (Chaingun guys are bigger and uglier)

Imp: Very ugly brown guy whos really angry at the world and throws fireballs and claws at you, Widespread, but not so much as zombies, easy to kill

Demons: Take a gorilla, shave it, piss it off, and give it shark teeth and bull horns, thats a Demon, takes a bit of buckshot to kill but isnt too difficult

Spectres: Basically demons but really hard to see if you arent lookin for 'em

Revenant: A 8 foot tall skeleton with body armor, kung fu skills, and shoulder mounted rocket launchers. Packs a bit of a punch but isnt too hard to kill,

Arachnotron: Little brains on cybernetic spider legs, beware of it's Plasma Rifle, takes quite a bit of punishment

Mancubus: A giant blob of flesh with twin flamethrower launchers, can take quite a bit of punishment

Lost Soul: A flaming skull thats on fire that flies towards you screaming, what more could I say?

Cacodemon: A giant red Pumpkin thing with a face frozen in a bizarre smile, giant mouth, spits fireballs, and bites, also flies takes a bit of punishment

Hell Knight: He throws green globs of acid, is really ugly, brown, and takes lots of bullets

Baron of Hell: Same as a Hell Knight, except more powerful, and PINK!

Arch-Ville: Has fire Magic, and can bring fallen monsters back to life, rare but hard to kill as well.

Spider Mastermind: Take an Arachnotron, make it 20 times bigger, and replace the plasma rifle with a chaingun.

Cyberdemon: A giant Demon with one leg replaced with cybernetics, BIG HUGE GUTS! Rocket Launcher for a hand, mean attitude, and is more then 100 men and a half

If you youtubed the doom comic dramatization you would get the BIG GUTS and the man and a half puns

Things you could find in the world

Weapons- Self Explanatory, but i must explain the type of weapons!

Melee- Anything you can smak people with, however the Chainsaw is the best, aka the Great Communicator

Small Guns: Basically anything smaller then a chaingun, includes pistols, shotguns, double barrel shotguns (they deserve so much respect they are their own category!) smgs and assault rifles

Basically if you can find it in the real world, or it's in the not too distant future (like 10 years not too distant future) you can use it.

Heavy Weapons
Chainguns to Rocket Launchers, rarer to find then small guns and have less ammo per area to be found, but pack a wallop

Experimentals
Plasma and Laser weaponry have been secretly developed by the UAC for some time, you could find some wonderful suprises in their bases
very hard to find and ammo is scarce, but they are incredibly powerful, some would say overpowered, but I say NAY!

Medical:
From Stimpacks, which heal you a little bit,
to Medkits
one item of note is the Beserk Pack, aka a rare black medkit, once used makes the user feel invincible, cures their wounds, and lets them punch THROUGH smaller enemies (no pneumatic glove needed, just hand)

also makes you wanna rip and tear and just spout one liners like you were Duke Nukem! The punching power and feeling of invincibility wears off after half a day's time

Clothing:
From your standard T-Shirt to your Marine Armor, you need clothes or you'll be eaten while in the nude...
Also includes backpacks which can carry things, like bullets, shotguns, or maybe grenades,

Orbs: Rare items from hell itself, usually found in a secret passage or before some super powerful monsters, probably a gift from Angels in the battle against Hell
they usually convey stuff like this
Increased Health, so you feel like a SUPERHUMAN!
The inability to be hurt, also your pupils disappear and the whites of your eyes turn a bizarre and scar golden color, unfortunately the user sees everything in Photo Negative wears off after a short while, MAKE IT COUNT
Partial Invincibility. It's Partial so you are harder to see, your like a Spectre now, but it wears off after a short while.

(entaru i actually planned on people finding weapons and ammo... they start with low power weapons but eventually go to the high powered ones)

Specialty: Up close combat in short. On the high side, Glacier is going to use submachine guns and shotguns. When things get personal or ammo becomes scarce, enemies will find a butterfly knife stabbed deeply into their face. Don't worry about a lava-stricken leg or severely bitten limb, Glacier is on his way with a medkit for any of his hurt comrades.

Background: True to be named, the wolf White joined the military to pay for medical school when he couldn't afford the tuition. After 4 years of down and dirty surgical cutlery, combat training in the arctic chill, and a few close calls on some high-risk practice missions on Earth he was put up for the frontlines for the army. Handed a handgun, a medical bag, and a butterfly knife the new private wolf was given the field name Glacier for his ability to withstand a harsh tundra. Next thing he knew, he was swept aboard a ship with other soldiers off on a need-to-know-basis.

He is like the Doom 2 sergent... can take more than the plain soldier, but is still not going to stand up to alot.
Plus he is a medic. I am hoping to be a back class. Sort of a combat medic.

Specialty: he's more of a lone wolf assassin kinda guy, better at handling problems by himself, but will still perform well in a small group.  Don't pair him up with more than about 5 people, or his performance rates decrease considerably.

Memories: A few hours before doomsday began he was in an airplane with a few other people.  They were assigned to gather some information from a few nasty people in Greece.  In reality he landed crash landed near Paris, France and found himself among the only survivors of the landing.  Unfortunately his leg was broken and he couldn't go anywhere.  A few hours later, a small squad of French soldiers and a couple of medics showed up, with their rifles and shotguns at the ready.  They knew something he didn't, and he would only find out what it was they were trying to tell him when a revenant showed up.  Lets just say that Regret was the only survivor...
