So yeah.. a while back i did a pirate rp, personally it was good, and a fun subject for a Rp  :P

Basically, the last time i did it it ended up being dragged down to ther bottom of ther sea because i didnt really introduce any story or motives for posting unfrotunately  :/
This time around, if i end up starting it i'l make sure that is not the case... so yeah, basically i'm just wondering if anyone would be interested in it?
(Ive got a storyline sorted out, along with how that will affect rp'ers, also i got character sheet stuff worked out pretty much, so i'm just seeing if anyone would want to do it)

Also, i guess at this time i could ask if anyone wanted to help GM this rp or somthing, due to the fact that when i can get on the laptop to post is kinda limited, if anyone is interested give me a shout and i'l appreciate the help  :3

OMG YES, I want to be in this one. Aye aye el capitan, I would love to be aboard the Kitt Express! I'm interested to give the GM position a go if you'd like :P. I manage my boss's business at work often and I do a lot of online and phone business transactions, but yes I'm just entry level.

Right, well i dont have time to post any details tonight.... So tomorrow (i got the day off, seeing as im on study leave and dont have to go into school  ^_^ ) i'l post up some additional info mainly story-wise so people can see whether theyd be interested (I'm gonna make sure the story plays a much bigger part, and also the rp'ers themselves play a much bigger part in the story too!)

the problem I had in the previous Pirate RP (i'm pretty sure it was yours) was that everyone had to be a gun-toting avast ye, covered in cutlasses and shooting musketballs out of their fingers. Anyone deviating from that gets ignored. Personally, I've always been one to find something that nobody else is doing and fill that gap with my character. In the pirate one, it was some crazy old shipwreck diver who wasn't that great at fighting anymore. His strength was in his personality and his experience. He would have been a great character in a straight story, but he's like an NPC in an MMO.

Dont worry Asia, i noticed that in the first version of this rp (yeah it was mine)... and i'm hoping to sort that out... I cant post anymore cos i gotta go... but that is a problem i wish to fix...

Aye aye Captain! *Salutes* I loved the first RP, but I lost interest after the preliminary battle went on for so long and I believe it was the very first Serious RP I had been a part of on TFF x.x

Arrgh, this be a brilliant idea me hearty!
I'd love to try it out, it seems a fun genre at the same time awesome and serious. I say pirate RP is one of the greatest RP ideas ever.
I don't know how active I can be since my laptop use is limited also..... but thats just at the moment, I should be able to find a way to work this out.

Right, well i've had a thought... i've written up the character sheet stuff in a word doc.... but, there are two ways we could take this rp...

a )  We have one LARGE ship... i think this would focus the rp more... everyone would be crew on said ship, and there would perhaps be one captain or somthin'

b ) We do what we did before, and everyone can be their own captain or whatever they want.... however i'm now kind of unsure about that, and i think perhaps the first option would focus the Rp...

So yeah, seeing as you will be the guys in the Rp... this one is on you... I'd be happy to run the Rp either way  ^_^

Okay, one vote for having a single ship...

If we did it that way... we could have everyone as having just joined up as crew or somthing... and i'm currently working on the overall storyline, so whatever you guys decide on i'l have that ready  :P

Okay, well before i have to go and finish revision 4 tomorrow...

The basic idea i had for a story, was kinda like in the first version of this rp... There are two 'factions'... The furs (aka: Captain Jack style pirates) ... And the East India Corporation, (aka: humans/the red-coats of the Caribbean)....

The furs have one large pirate port, that so far has proven to be hard to destroy, the East India troops have attacked it twice before, and been beaten by the sheer number of pirates and ships localised to this single port.... However, several things of great importance where found by the Humans, and immediately rushed to the adimiral (leader of the East india fleet)....

On the way, one of the messenger ship was attacked by pirates, and a map was found under guard by the captain of the ship itself, it seems to have been one of a number of such maps, at least one other of which the Admiral now has.... The map found by the pirates, leads to an island fourty leagues or so away from the port, and according to the scrawled instructions on it another clue will be found at the island..... If pieced together several of these maps will point to a single... thing.... exactly what it is i'm not gonna reveal for now  ;)
