Ok...  I've tried my hand at this before... but poor planning and crappy dialogue ruined everything.  Kinda like those really bad B rated sci fi movies.  Well I'm not going to let it happen again.  I spent some time on this and I've been pleased by how it came out.

Pretty much this RP revolves around a city that had been infected by an unknown pathogen.  And by the time anyone could even react it had spread and become a pestilence.  Citizens grew pale, had severe flu like symptoms, and in progressed stages repeat seizures and change in eye and hair color.  The cornea turned a greyish black, and and hair seemed to undergo necrosis along with the skin.  And you guessed it... they turn into zombies.  BUT... this isn't your typical zombie gorefest.  I have an engrossing tale behind all the madness.  And off we go...

FIRST THINGS FIRST

I will be going to Maine on Wednesday 22nd and I will be returning Sunday the 26th.  I will NOT open this thread for RPing until I return because it seems kind of... silly.  So I will use this time to explain the rules, and character sheet so everyone who wants in can have at it...  And when I return I will approve those who want in.

Ok... onto the rules:

3. You do NOT talk about Fight Club

Anyhow...

1. Please... please... don't disrespect your fellow forum members.  We're all in this to have fun.  I can't stress that enough.

2. You MUST have completed a full character sheet, approved by me before you start posting.

3. Don't do anything stupid.  I can live with crappy dialogue, just don't do things like give your character special super awesome things, or super natural abilities.  OR take the plot in a totally random and stupid direction... try and keep things consistent.  A fun twist every here and there is fine.  But this isn't Mythbuster's.  What's worth doing is NOT worth over doing.

4. Just have fun, be creative, I'm not a mean person who's out to smash your RP dreams with an iron GM fist.  Just have fun.

Short Bio: (Explain something about your character... what makes him special?  Personality?  Traits?  Sell me on this one.  You can make them as long or as short as you like.)  An electric, stunning, and charming individual...  James makes for a witty, and cunning Agent.  He stands tall, like a coconut tree over a Smart Car.  He strikes an invoking look that could kill a man, and woo the Mrs.  He specializes in damn near every weapon and vehicle on the planet.  He is... the most interesting man in the world.  Needless to say... You don't want to be caught in his sights...

Short Bio: Alfred was born and raised as a butler his entire life. When his master passed away due to a heart attack, the entire estate and fortune of his master was left to him. Without someone to look after, he began to train his body and mind everyday on schedule. He's no superman, but he can hold his own in a fight.

Bio: After serving his mandatory one year milatary service in Russia, Mikhail moved to the U.S. (This is set in the states right?) To become a Heavy Equipment Operator.
Attending trade school at the time of the outbreak.
Obviously, has experiance with firearms.
Can be described as untrusting, pessamistic and dark.
Speaks english quite well for a Russian.

Short Bio: fresh out of school max went into a career as a chef. he learnt from an early age how to use a blade, fight and what to do in case of the 'worst case scenario' by his parents who both trained in the ways of the ninja. he tends to keep to himself and rarely talks to others unless its necessary to do so.

Would really love to try a forum based RP, even though it will be my first. I've done my fair share of IM based RP (not cybering mind you, but the real deal), but that's also it. Not really used to doing long posts either. But willing to learn... want me in?

Short Bio: Hoping to become an illustrator, Martin spends most of his time at home, working on his computer or on paper. Even though he is often alone, he loves to have a good time at parties and such, being an experienced drinker, amongst other things. He has no combat training apart from an archer class from when he was a teenager (which isn't really useful at all I imagine). He is quite easy on the eyes for both sexes, sporting a mantail and slender figure.

Most excellent everyone.  Everything looks good to me.  And @ Allexei, yes.  The setting is in the USA, in a small (fictional) town called Dawn Wood just on the outskirts of St. Louis Missouri.

Short Bio: An extremely well rounded individual, Nicholas had attained the nickname "Archer" when he won a regional archery competition at the age of 15.  He has always been fond of bows, and firearms, but kept in mind the responsibility, and the danger of them.  He hunted anually to keep his reputation as Dawn Wood's own sharpshooter.  He was a member of the local law enforcement, soon to take role as sheriff due to his outstaning performance and public appeal.  He was the kind of person you could sit in a bar and chum with.  Respectable and elegent, yet still down to earth to those around him.

Ok, it's aboot time I got this thang rolling.  I've been home today enjoying my christmas present, which I'm sure everyone else was doing, along with holiday treats and what not... which brings me to my next point...

I hope everyone had a great holiday and such! 

Ok, it looks like we have 6 (including myself).  Coolio.  A nice simple moderate bunch.  Before we begin I would to point out a few last things:

1. I will not be implimenting a posting order.  However, you may not post twice in a row.

2. I'm not requiring anyone to keep up with this.  Life comes first.

3. If you have any thoughts that do NOT belong in the RP, please place them here where we may discuss.  Thoughts, ideas, character additions, changes etc... plot, you're pissed that your team didn't win.... it goes here.

4. Try to keep things consistent.  I don't mind plot changes/complications, just make it work.

5. Spelling, grammar doesn't count.  But try your best to keep things neat and legible.  If you don't like using quotation marks to indicate someone speaking, you may use color, or both if you so choose.
