New to furry roleplay, anyone wanna give me some tips?
« on: January 27, 2011, 09:29:32 PM »
Hey, I usually roleplay on games like GTA, and I have no idea how I'd roleplay a furry. Anyone wanna give me some tips, or is (furry) forum roleplaying pretty much the same principal as RPing a human in a video game? I already know all the stuff like metagaming, powergaming and whatnot, I'm just not sure how I'd do it in a forum setting.
Only when the POWER OF LOVE overcomes the LOVE OF POWER, will the world know peace.

Thanks to Kizmetten from FA for the avvy :3

Tip number 1. Pretend you are the animal

Tip number 2. Dont be invincible, its not fun for the rest of the furs

Tip number 3. Pretend you are the character

well, when i roleplay, i add a lot of adjectives, just so everyone else can see exactly what i am describing
when violet eyes get brighter, and heavy wings grow lighter,
i'll taste the sky and feel alive again...
and i'll forget the world that i knew, but i swear - i WON'T forget you...
oh, if my voice could reach back through the past, i'd whisper in your ear,
oh darling i wish you were here... T.T

Don't post gory battle moves. For example, no firing a double-barreled harpoon gun into an opponent's eyes, ripping out their eyeballs, then jabbing said harpoons into the opponent's chest. That's just tacky and disgusting.
