Hello, I'm Bags.
I have never really done any RP'ing on the internet before. Don't get me wrong, I used to play dnd with a bunch of friends way back when, and developed some really cool characters, and I have tactical role-playing exercises in the past, and I play video games all the time, including RPG's, but how does one RP on a forum... or whatever venue one uses. I mean, like how does it work? I realize that question can have a myriad of answers, but is there like an unspoken set of rules for ever RP situation? is there a dungeonmaster? who monitors the RP? I have viewed a few of the "sparring" threads and it just seems kinda random. looks like fun tho, and in leu of actually meeting fellow furries, I think this would be a cool way to interact with other furries for a while (with my fursona full-on).
So I guess I'm just asking for a simple how-to. and what weapons my fursona should use, because right now, like me, I have him using the weapon I am most qualified with: a machine gun. And that seems a bit one sided, when I get approached by hostiles toting swords. But thenagain, I do not have any spectacular powers. So I'm just interested to get started.
