Hello Everyone! My name is Professor Reed, I am a specialized doctor, and my specialty is domesticated dragons! Here in this world, sixty out of the one thousand young teenagers pass the test to become Dragon Trainers! Your ultimate goal is to be a Dragon Master or join the Indigo league, where you will become the undefeated World Champion.
Now, regarding your dragon, you will start with a level 4 dragon, your dragon can reach up to level 15 (if following the Indigo League rules) at level 15 you will be required to be at Dragon Master Level.  Your dragon, along with its natural abilities of its element will also gain personal enhancements or ability due to its personal achievements, each new ability will be different for each dragon.


Regarding you, the Dragon Trainer, you too will have magical abilities like your dragon once you have bonded, your magic will mostly be related to your dragon’s natural element. You are required to have Martial arts experience, skilled at your weapon of choice and above all else, master yourself and your magic.
 
Your Basic Guide to Dragons:
1. They start out small. They can grow into huge dragons depending on what level your dragon is on. You cannot change your dragon’s element or give him/her a new element.


2.       No abuse to your dragon, it is a felony.


3.       Be careful! Your dragon is a living being, may also suffer from moody symptoms.


4.       Take care of your dragon of course!


The Elements:


Fire- the most common and the most appreciated, extremely aggressive but also loyal beyond your imagination (males prefer this dragon) Red in color


Water – more gentle, they tend to fight for a reason, not spontaneous, they tend to livelonger and are more intelligent (females prefer this dragon)  blue in color


Earth/Lightning (rare)-Earth dragons are stubborn and sturdy, eternally faithful and patient. On the rare occasion, a Lightning dragon is born, Mistaken to be an Earth dragon, only with lightning powers. Only one every fifty years a lightning dragon is born. green in color


Air- they are powerful, flighty and full of free spirit, they do not usually bond themselves to a mortal unless they feel a special closeness to that particular person. light grey in color


Darkness – mysterious, not evil, typically the most powerful when it comes to stamina and black magic. Black or purple in color

Bio: Stella is a runaway Princess from a unknown kingdom, she has the only lightning dragon in the world, even though its mistaken for an earth dragon. Stella is a pretty neat person, she is very sweet and nice and often bubbly, but can also change into a aggressive, determined person. she has a hearty appetite and also wants to be a great dragon master, she respects all dragon and dragon trainers.

armor: silver/simple but powerful armor
enhancements/abilities: she is super agile and strong, unlike the rest of her species.
Bio: Kilala was a very reclusive dragon but Stella brought her out into the open, she and Stella are so alike its almost scar. she usually takes the form of a green, cat like dragon. she and Stella work as a pair and have over come many Battles

Stella and Kilala will be competing in  the Semi-Nationals

hmm cani think about this one?  It sounds interesting and I love Dragons... But I do have question, some people tend to want to be the Dragon, is that possible for this RP? I ask this because I know acople of my friends will be interested that theyle ask this same question.

looks/clothing: Moves along on one long tail, and stands at 2 meters (tail tip to top of head is 3.6 meters). Dresses in a long white jacket with black cuffs and navy blue buttons for the collar. (Specifics for outfit style: here)

Weapon (Melee only): Scimitar
Bio: Yurian is just like his dragon partner Nihil, unique in both appearance and mentality. They both also hail from the desert regions, where the sun is up most of the day and water is more scarce than the plants that drink it. He is outwardly cold, but has an odd temper when it comes to questions and answers. He is fiercely protective of Nihil, often drawing his blade when his partner becomes the subject of the conversation.

armor: Strong as diamond when it comes to blades, claws, and jaws. However, maces and metal clubs can weaken the hide. Hide also has a strong reflection effect.
enhancements/abilities: Can travel up to twenty meters in a 'blink' of an eye.
Bio: Nihil is almost the perfect foil to his partner, very sociable when it comes to other trainers and dragons. He is usually the first to start conversation, and the last to take part in a fight. In fact, Yurian is the sole reason why they're taking part in the tournaments.

um...well Black Unicorn, I would greatly prefer you to be a dragon trainer. because during fights i would get difficult if it was a different person playing your dragon

*stares* ummm...your playing both characters...they are equal... making just your dragon the primary would defeat the purpose of the RP....

I think he means that there would be an anthro dragon being the dragon trainer, as well as the dragon itself.

ill think about it.. Im mostly interested in the dragon part, but im not so much for teenage or any kind of competition rp. Im not the kind who likes to be a champion in public over an arena, I like open world stuff.

species: half-cat, half-crow
Status/Level: level 4, Dragon Trainer
looks/clothing: Grey cat, blue eyes, big black wings. Is dressed like one of those guys from PRIEST.
Element: Light
Weapon (Melee only): THE DAGGER. (Do I really need more?) Has a bow and arrow set in case such a thing is needed.
Bio: An archer from a small outer town, Zavier found he had some control over lamps and other sources of light. The local shaman tagged him as the controller of Light, although not even he knew what the hell that meant. Zavier was then sent on a journey in order to become a Dragon Trainer and to try to become a Dragon Master.
 
Dragon Name: Kaile
age/level: level four, age two
element: Light
armor: Unknown... has yet to fight a regular battle. Seems strong, though...
enhancements/abilities: Can talk normally, and seems adaptable to weather changes... hmm...
Bio: A young dragon living on his own, Kaile befriends Zavier after they get temporarily trapped in an ice cave together and manage to get out using teamwork. Discovering that they both have control over light, they decide to enter the tournament in order to discover just what power Light has.
Battles:
They haven't really fought any yet. The closest they've gotten is during practice, but even then, they don't use any powers. So the tournament will be their first battle ever.
