Hello, everyone. This is my first roleplay on a forum, so criticism is all right with me.
Anyway, on with the actual roleplay information.

The general idea for this play is the basis of the modern reality television show, set back in a world that is less governmentally developed than modern day, allowing for your basic Fantasy RPG elements to be mostly possible. However, the antics of several people would be filmed as they continue to face several challenges placed by producers in order to gain ratings. Fantasy freedoms apply, to an extent.

I will provide an example after this section. Please make your characters interesting; don't bring perfect people who can slaughter a million with a flick. Per normal, no godmodding/Mary Sues/controlling others unless cleared beforehand. Also, in the event fights occur with other characters, you win one, then you lose one. Unless both participants clear it beforehand, anyway.
Talents can mean anything from basic magical ability to martial arts. Nothing that would make your character any more powerful(overall) than others', though. Try to limit this to around 3.
Weaknesses should be prominent, at least 4 per character. These are needed for development.
Title would be something that producers would give your character, even though for this part you're allowed to choose. Your character wouldn't choose it, it'd theoretically be assigned.
REMEMBER TO BE CREATIVE, AND TO MAKE INTERESTING CHARACTERS!
NO CHARACTER WOULD BE IMMUNE TO ANOTHER'S TALENTS UNLESS CLEARED WITH THE GROUP THROUGH THIS PAGE.

Character sheet for myself:
Name: Cyrille Rayan
Title: The Thief
Talents: Empath, Agility/Flexibility, and Silver Tongue(Verbal Manipulation.)
Weaknesses/Flaws: Rather emotional inside, alcoholism, determined personality. Shady appearance, arrogance. He is fast, but he isn't very strong.
Personality Basics: As mentioned in his weaknesses, Cyrille can be rather emotional although his outward appearance is calm and cut-throat. He is often quiet, although he can attempt(and fail) to take leader positions quite often. He enjoys speaking cryptically, but when attempting to finish something he has a short patience for it. Otherwise, he views most quarrels as games, and will address people and their concerns in a rather playful manner, while retaining his darker tones. Although unintentionally, he often speaks in a condescending tone. He likes to believe strongly in luck, but he also tends to state that "Things happen for a reason." He doesn't enjoy speaking of the past and can be rather cynical. When intoxicated, he attempts to stay in his normal disposition, but can normally be cranky or whimsically "lax."
Physical Description: 6' tall, and about 140lbs. He is a dark gray jackal, his eyes are dark and murky blue, and his figure is toned and slightly athletic. Often he wears button up shirts and has a fondness for coats and leather boots. At other times, he can be seen walking around in tanktops and jeans. Quite normally, he wears a necklace with a 20-sided die in a steel cage around his neck. He changes the die. His normal colors are low saturated and murky colors of blues, browns, greens, and reds, as well as black and white.

I saw this and became interested. I've read the rules and I'll do my best to follow them as I an very familiar with role-playing as that is why I came to this site.

Name: Thamir Vam (Couldn't think of a last name, sorry if it seems bad or random.)

Title: The Timid.

Talents: Enhanced five senses, Acrobatics, Camouflage.

Weakness/Flaws: Sometimes one sense can become dominant over all others, causing to him to follow the wrong trail or path at times. Curiosity can take over his train of thought, often distracting him from his current goal. When weakened, he grows reckless due to fear of possible death growing  inside of him. He can be frightened easily by certain things.

Personality Basic: Thamir is usually the loner of the crowd, not talking to others all that much and usually keeps his distance from the people he doesn't know anything about. Naturally, if you were to walk up to him and greet him, he will greet you back, but he tends to keep conversations short when things begin to go down south from one misplaced word. This is usually from him being frightened easily, so being timid came with that flaw of being prone to fear. However, sometimes his timid personality can lead to him being a nice guy when he feels like it is alright for him to talk or interact with you. On rare occasions though, he can grow angry and seem to have a sudden burst of emotion afterwards due to him feeling bad in the end of his angry attitude.

Physical description: 5' 6" Tall and weighs up to 127 lbs. and is a male raptor. His scales are brown and he has black stripes starting from the tip of his snout and running down to the tip of his tail. His secondary color (Lower jaw, front of his neck, torso, and the underside of his tail) is a standard tan. He also has quills that are on the top his head, which looks as if it were a small amount of hair. His eyes' Iris is a deep yellow and the pupil is black while the area around them both is white. He usually could be found wearing a hoodie of any pale or dark color with selection of blue jeans ranging from dark to light. He prefers not to wear shoes as his toes' claws usually start tear the front of them from the inside, causing them to be uncomfortable to wear. (Yes, he has tried clipping them if you're wondering.)

Character's good. Although we need more people, heh. Don't worry, it's okay if I don't like something.... It'd be odd if I blew anything out of proportion and would be rather stupid of me. I just stated so many rules, because I'm trying to make it fairly equal.
Hmm.... But it doesn't seem many are interested in this.

It takes some time for people to come and read certain things because they're either busy in real life or they have a lot of other things to reply to and don't have any time left to go into the Serious RP Companion Board. So I think it would be best to have some more paitence before saying that nobody is interested in this.

I might post a start threat in a while, perhaps it'll draw more attention? I still wish to do this.

Name: Lyzer Fulmis

Title: The Vagrant

Talents: Ability to wield lightning, High speed, Can read auras

Weaknesses/Flaws: Carries a crystal around his neck that harnesses his physical state, temperamental, cocky, has no stamina to hold a long battle

Personality Basics: Lyzer keeps to himself but enjoys listening to conversations. Usually quiet, sarcastic, and relaxed. Doesn't let most things get to him and avoids conflicts if possible. Kind of quirky and geeky mostly and can get a bit "crazy" at night as if there are two sides to his personality completely though this does not always happen. He is very competitive even though he won't openly state it. Likes to make everyone happy without their knowledge but craves recognition for his actions. Hates injustice.

Physical Description: 5'9" tall and weighs around 138lbs is a mix blood of a wolf and some other species presumably feline. Charcoal gray fur with various blood red markings along his entire body. Eyes change color depending on the context of the situation. A slim athletic build with toned features. Always wears a tattered black hoodie and baggy pants. Hair is in the form of a mohawk. Hides a crystal around his neck under his shirt.

All right, I shall begin a thread.

I will also be placing reminds to limit talents, at least for the beginning.
Electricity manipulation-limited to where your character will not be able to thunderbolts constantly/kill another players quickly. No ability to make huge thunderstorms.
Camouflage; not something to be guaranteed to work in blinding light?
(Since all of us seem to have speed of some sort); No superhuman flash-type powers.
Aura/Empathy powers can't perfectly pick up people's exact feelings. Only general.
Persuasion; continuous application/mostly non players. Not %100 success.

If cross player fights occur, we shall done 1win to 1loss. Remember it's not totally fun if you win every fight!

Are these all right with everyone? Acknowledging your character once could have done these powers without limits is all right, however giving a side story as to why they have current limits would spice up the plot. (IE, the stone was somehow weakened due to the competition).

I shall start the thread.

Note that the show will get more dangerous as the play begins, and I still have yet to decide on endings? Perhaps escape?
The promise of the show is a large company and a large sum of silver to its winner. Loss can mean death.

Also, contestants shall be contained within sections of a house; room designs were allowed to be chosen by characters before hand due to the risky nature of this game(meaning place what you want in your room, though. Nothing too ridiculous).

Ask questions if needed! Respond when you feel you can, although remember that the order we respond will then create the order for future responses.

Name: Kyubi Silver

Title: The Enchanter
 
Talents: Kyubi can perform an Endokuken and he knows Semi-Advanced Medicine.
(An Endokuken is basically a One-Hand Hadoken)

Weaknesses/Flaws: Although his training was Semi-Advanced he can screw up the recipes by misreading ingredients.
Kyubi can conjure an Endokuken but he has to use Literal life force.
Even if he knows his enemy can return and kill him, he still shows mercy.

Personality basics: Kyubi is a helpful fuzzball. He often worries about others and is sometimes naive.
He always tries his best to help those he consider friends. Kyubi stands at 5' 12'' (how is that possible?) and weighs a solid 180 Lbs.
He is a mid sized fellow and has muscle but it's hidden by a thin layer of fat.
Kyubi is a Golden Jackal, he's Golden Brown with Dual Black Side Stripes.
He prefers not to talk about his past life but all he ever mentions about it is ''The crystal shadows, moving in the trees under the moon.''
Kyubi would never wish to kill anyone but he will put someone through a little pain.

Tim; your first post should be soon after Lyzer's next.
Your character should be waiting within the team's designated home. If you have read the most recent posts, all the characters so far have letters describing each other. Yours will be armed with information of others'(although it should be noted that the information would be developed, also we should note on here what the letters would say of others' pasts.)

The letters ideally would contain exaggerated and falsified information in order to make your character seem as a threat toward the others' in order to cause drama(reality television in a nutshell.) Especially about the foulness or threat of the abilities of its focus.

The Thief's letter;
Originally from Urban France, he carries a smooth accent in his average voice. The accent is made to deceive; he has been known to utilize his words to place others in horrid places for themselves, and has displayed the ability to talk himself out of most situations. A few years ago, he had gotten in large trouble for what we shall call a large banking heist; and wouldn't be one to be trusted. He has also stolen from several parts of this television company, and although he has paid debt in his dirty cash, we wouldn't say he has taken full responsibility. Utilizing his vision and verbal abilities, he is able to predict emotional reactions and examine a person's character and emotional state, often manipulating in order to fulfill his ulterior motives. Added with this are swiftness and flexibility, which gives him fair speed while minimum strength, it won't be uncommon for him to run away from physical conflict or speed ahead and steal most of the glory for others' work.

Vagrant's Letter;

After finding this particular person wandering the streets a little  research has found that he is a bit more than infamous in some areas of the world. His nonchalant and quiet personality compliments his ability read a persons true thoughts and feelings. Extremely useful for interrogations and extortion. His slim physique allows him to move extremely fast making it easy for him assassinate targets, this speed also makes each hit count. Beyond this he has sometimes shown an aptitude for control of lightning be it to kill the fuses of a room or kill a mans heart, this quiet murderer does however have honor and only kills when it is deemed necessary. Don't get on this one's bad side and you may have a skilled ally.

 Enchanter's Letter:


A little reserved insight was left for the next member of the team after being seen at a local medical center.
It is noted that he is with 3 other teammates and is expected, or not, to cooperate with The Vagrant, Thief, and Timid.
This person was watched and studied for a while. Results say he has a previous history with noblemen of some towns.
Believed to have taken random citizens and poison them, and is also believed to have killed someone and ran away.
Mainly living in the light of the sun and full moon, the Enchanter is subtle and not harsh on others.
His potions and medicines can be useful if he's in a tight grip.
The Enchanter requires a form of energy to throw his Endokuken, so food and sleep are important; Beware if your sandwich is gone.
Because he is skilled in Alchemy, it is recommended that most not see his dark personality.
This individual is a respectable ally and can be grateful if anything when assisted.
Unlike usual Alchemists who can be weak and skinny, this one is strong and a bit resiliant.
Sometimes the Enchanter can be stubborn and not listen.
