The Den, you've known it as your home since your birth. You grew up in the lower decks, knowing mostly the strife that plagues this underground city. The upper decks are home to The Administration, the shadowy leaders that control the flow of resources and power throughout all 19 decks. You don't know too much about the outside world, only that The Den is in the middle of the ocean and most of it is built from scrapped ships. The Den is over crowded and resources are becoming scarce.
The Slums, what you call home. Made from sunken ships of a world unknown, rust and ruin go hand-in-hand with the poverty that grips decks 19 through 10. These decks mostly survive off of the barter system, trading food and goods for other goods and services, doing what can be done to survive. These decks are also home to some of the wrecker bays, mighty submarines that venture into the pitch black sea to scavenge metal to build onto the ever-growing Den.
The Center, decks 9 through 5, the middle class and home of the Den Security. This is the point where most of the trickled down resources stop, per courtesy of the Security.
The Administration, decks 4 through 1. Not much is known about these decks, only rumor and myth surround it. The most well known rumor, though, is that the Admins are researching a way to produce an easily renewed source of food for the over populated Den. Most dismiss it as a pipe dream conjured by those that live in the Slums.
A revolution is taking place in The Den, the Black Paws are scratching and clawing their way into the Administration, vying for control of the Den. They've already discovered that the Admins' research labs are experimenting on the denizens, the Black Paws are not sure what they're doing, but people go missing every day.
Where do you fit in?
You've just been recommended to join the Black Paw, a contact has given you instruction to meet him at Deck 19's Pier 344 Warehouse. Even the lowest of the low, can rise to the top. Join the revolution!
Now the boring part, Rules:
1. Obviously, no god-modding. Ex. Instead of saying "I slash you" say "I attempt to slash you" or "I lunged at you, sword arcing at your chest"
2. Please please please do not be invulnerable. No one likes a dead character, but no one likes a character that can't get hurt either.
3. You don't start with any weapons, sorry. But it'll be very helpful if you list a combat ability in your skills (feel free not to though, your character can learn or be well-rounded)
4. Present day technology, no magic, no psionics please.

Brief Description: A 6' snow leopard, standard grey/black spots look, most everything about him is normal looking save for his dead left eye that he shamelessly displays to all. He was a wrecker navigator, but the disappearance of his sister compelled him to join the rebellion. He's the Black Paw's de facto recruiter, making sure that there's always a fresh batch of raw recruits. He oversees training and sometimes accompanies recurits on missions.
