The RP opens on a young child, a cub of sorts, left behind by her father and mother. She has no memory of anything that happened to her, only faces and disconnected tidbits of speech in the dark. She has been left in the care of an old man, called the Grinch. He is greedy beyond measure, and hates children. The cub is haunted by a voice she hears everywhere she goes. No past, no future. Only the present.

The setting is an old, rural town of the sixteenth century. The village is small, only a hundred or so people living there.


There are two sides to this RP, Dark and Light. One will destroy her, the other heal what has been done. Neither side know about the child yet, but there is a suggestion.

I haven't RPed in a while and this seems pretty interesting. May I join?
(Before I create a profile, can a character's side change and can a character be neutral? As in at first a character might be dark, but they can change to another side? Or better still, can the character have two sides to them, so half the time they're light, but they change into dark version from time time?)

Side: Light/Dark (Cursed to change from Light to Dark under certain circumstances)
Physical Description: (Light) Somewhat thin and muscular, with blazing crimson eyes brimming with determination and bright, fiery fur. Wears a traveler's cloak.
Physical Description: (Dark) Almost identical to Light form, but voice becomes far colder, eyes gain a dark glint in them and his fur darkens. A slight aura can be seen around him occasionally.
Powers: (Light) Minor Aerokinesis and Pyrokinesis. Is not affected by wounds as much as most.
Powers: (Dark) Stronger Pyrokinesis, Minor Aerokinesis and Void magic. Is damaged more easily, however.

Physical Description: White fur with icy snowflakes printed randomly on coat, red ribbon tied across and around stomach region and along tail; Crimson eyes and candy cane striped paw pads.
Powers: Arc of Darkness (form/change shadows with paws), Melting Shade (invisibility using darkness), and Buffer Black (bring up a solid shadow for protection)

A little more info; Naal is from a tribe of white lions, the Kerri Ura. Her coloring is common among them and she is typically cold and calculating around strangers and aloof around companions. Pretty much unpredictable at any time.

Name: Grapper-Greed

Side: Unknown

Physical Description: Barrel-chested and dark haired, Grapper possesses an aura that will make the bravest man cringe before him. His sapphire eyes are full of malicious intent and greed, hence his nickname. He is normally clad in dark breeches, tunic, and boots. No capes or other signs f his wealth are visible since he tends to blend in with the others. His hooked nose comes from his higher-blooded ancestors and a strong brow portray his tolerance for idiocy, none. His weapons of choice when forced to fight are his meager powers and a dagger named by his servants, Sar'vok Yentk; meaning Flesh Drinker.

Powers: Black Braid (cord of shadow used to choke another), Arc of Darkness, Energy Crowd (use light to replenish lost energy in battle)  Malicious Mix (command shadows with thought to do one's bidding), and White Rain (blind foes by aiming an arc of light at their senses)

A little more info: The only official thing known about him is his other nickname, Nixor. Grapper is rarely one to come out of his castle, but when he does; no one puts two and two together. He is invisible to the public because he blends in so well.
