Hardest Boss You Ever Fought!

Looking to see what everyone thought was the hardest video game boss ever, came to mind while replaying some Metal Gear Rising and with that being said I would choose Senator Armstrong from Jetstream Sam's DLC on Revengence difficulty. Choose this fight over the core fight because hes far more aggressive in the DLC, that's not to say hes easy in the main game but he is relentless in the DLC fight.

Definitely the four boss hellhole you have to pass in Cave Story. I consider them all one boss since you can not save in between them.

..it's a platforming bullet hell/shoot em' up (Like Metroid but WAAAY harder.) about these bunny people called Mimiga that are being threatened by the main antagonist, the Doctor (No, not the timelord. Sorry Doctor Who fans.). He wants to use these red coloured flowers as a steroid on the Mimiga so he can use them in the ranks of his army. A lot to take in, isn't it?


I've still yet to beat them, unfortunately. I'm not the best at video games, but I still love them! <:^D

like the bloody, giant anti magic robot guy in the second time you visit the Aladdin world in kingdom hearts. I remember being stuck on this boss for weeks because I relied HEAVILY on magic to keep my alive D: I never did beat it, I was trying to but my dog ran by and knocked down my ps2 D: killing it completely. so I never had a chance to try again.

Aec'Letec from Baldur's Gate: Tales from the Sword Coast. Nothing else compares for me. That fight is pure evil. The demonknight in Durlag's Keep was bad, and the werewolf boss fight atop the shipwreck was extremely painful. But Aec'Letec? Holy crap he takes the cake.


That game came out in 1999, and I still haven't come across a boss anywhere near as painful. Considering all the gaming I do, that is a huge statement.

For me I would have to say the final boss in ninja gaiden 2 (all three? Stages) but that last level I just a pain of button mashing on mostly bosses... XDother then that. I would have to say no other boss really comes to mind.

One of the hardest I can think of on the top of my head is "The Emperor" from the Force Unleashed on hardest difficulty.

What the heck, that fight is just not fair.

When they first put KF2 on early access, the boss was crazy difficult compared with the other rounds. In terms of difficult bosses, that always sticks out for me. They've made the bosses match the difficulty you're playing on better now, though, so it's a hell of a lot less of a suckerpunch.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance  ....  When you fight mistral and monsoon one after the other,  that was the hardest boss battle EVER...  it made the battle with Sundowner straight after look easy in comparison XD

I would says Sans but... He was a chump.

I otherwise can't think of any bosses that were exceedingly 'hard' as such, more annoying than anything. That said I'd have to go with the final boss of Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 - that damned attack helicopter when you (and potentially your co-op partner) are stuck in a tennis court.


That fight sucked, especially on Professional mode where the slightest breeze from the explosive rockets it fired sent you hurtling back to the start of the fight.   >.>

I'm doing a challenge to defeat Kaiser Dragon from FFVI without spamming cheap techinques such as Quick or Valiant Knife+Master's Scroll or Ultima. It's pretty difficult
