Art Of Maine
« on: May 12, 2013, 09:09:03 AM »
I tend to do little doodles and such, nothing in particular.
here we go!

Just a doodle of Little Maine I did in class. (yes it is very MS Paint)

And also a dragon profile. I don't know why I did it, but I think it's probably of my digital pieces yet.

Yeah, that doodle is pretty cute. That dragon is simply fabulous. I really love the scale work especially. Just curious, but were the scales done with a certain brush or did you use good old fashion patience in making them?  :3

Thanks guys, glad you like em :3

as for the scales, I started doing them the old fashioned way, but as it was 1 in the morning I said balls to it, made a sample of the scales I had already done and pasted it all over. So..... half and half?

Interesting, so just good ol' copy/pasta then. Hehe. Have done some of that myself when I needed something to look a certain way and didn't want to redraw it. Copy/pasta and flip! :D Works every time! But if I ever got into drawing scalies at least now I know how to get a decent look now. Thanks.  ^_^

Er. Magerd. That doodle is about 12 different kinds of cute! *hugs the hare* And the dragon is very well done! :D I especially like the eye; the lighter section in the iris is a nice touch—really gives it a shiny look. I'd love to see more! ^_^

Thought I'd post some stuff from school, it's not really furry related (It's lots and lots of buildings!)
I don't know, I kinda just feel like sharing. The good old days before the creativity murderer (also know as my art teacher) sucked my soul dry.

Spoiler for Hidden:

the following are not as crooked as they actually seem, it's the photo angle that is wonky :\

That's all for now! :)

I love them! :D You have quite the knack for atmosphere, Maine. I think my favorite is the one of the red door at the top of the stairs. Not only does it feel very quiet and foreboding, it also looks disturbingly similar to a door and stairs at my high school.

I also love the fancy spider with the moustache. ^_^

Nobi: "I've never seen anyone who has a wombat fursona."
Maine: "Well that's understandable, I can even imagine what an anthro wombat would look like."
