roomate's friend staying with us rant
« on: June 13, 2010, 06:35:20 AM »
just a rant.
so i got a roomate right? he's a cool guy (nonfur T_T) and hes planning on bringing up one of his old girlfriends to our apartment to stay with us cause shes homeless. I dont have a problem with that, except she has a 2 year old kid. i dont like kids. rather, i hate kids. i always have to censor myself around them, cant play my video games round them cause theyre not kid friendly, gotta entertain them and what not, its not my thing at all. worst part of all this is that i cant let her be homeless because thats mean. id love to live on my own, but its too expensive. gargleblarghle. /rant

Read over your lease. TRUST ME there normally is a clause in there stating that people can only stay there for 2 weeks at a time once a month or something. Read it over, your land lord is the only one who can put people in a place they own. And if they refuse to go along with the lease, and your land lord finds out, you BOTH can be booted from where your living.

I'd leave her.
If she's getting in the way of my happiness, then forget her.
I hate kids as well, so... It wouldn't be something I could do.
I'd talk to the other dude about it. Cuz I'd end up smackin me a child one way or another.

I don't like kids too much either....
But theres not much to do except find a way to move yourself out or have your roommate or his girl move out. Or you can organize something for the kid, like daycare occasionally, or go to a friends house during the day.
