I have the same problem with where I live, I want to do things like this, mostly things related to being Bi actually, but in the environment I'm in it's considered "Unacceptable" it really blows, we need to do something about getting it out there that being in touch with your animal side IS NOT a bad thing.

mostly ca's they see it as being "weird" or against the grain, they seem to think we're just a waist of life ca's we spend time thinking about being something else

funny thing is, we're the creative free thinkers that will do great things, I'm still banking on a furry making huge leaps in genetics and anatomical research to make furries real lol

I think most of the reason some people don't like furries is cause they don't know much about us and so they fear us. The fear in turn causes them to hate us and then they try to get rid of us. Similar things have happened thousands of times over throughout history.

I dont think its weird at all, I mean I often find myself down town at night with a couple friends from here (Maximum and Iggy) and Sometimes I'll skip ahead and start barking at them playfully or growl, them go off howling at the moon.

Its just a bit or fun releasing your inner animal so you shouldnt feel weird bout it

Not what I meant, and not necessarily true. DNA and RNA are the base of all animals, with them the cells know how to divide and evolve. Re-encoding a set of DNA and RNA to tell a tail to form, or a muzzle to grow, and the brain to be advanced enough to control them, would be a clean way of creating a new form of life, the problem is, we don't REALLY know how it works. We would need someone motivated enough to really do it, hence, a furry with an obsession.

And although it is true that there isn't anything wrong with it, many of us feel pressured to not express ourselves due to the close minded fools in control of where we live/work/learn.

I just wish furries everywhere were able to express themselves more(like howl at the moon). Funny thing is even Christianity used to be "underground" for many years.
