Alright how messed up is this?

I was looking for a fursona name and then i began to wonder why My mother named me Garrett, so I go ahead and ask her.
She tells me to watch some movie called "The mists of Avalon". Anyone ever see it? Yeah, well if you have, my sisters name is Morgan. So Anyway in the movie there is a prince and a princess or something like that, and their names are Garrett and Morgan (Sister and I) And they get separated at teens and have different parents, one parent is evil and figures out that they have like superior blood, so she tricks them to sleep with each other (they wore masks and stuff) and he impregnated her, and they had a superior child. Anyway long story short, they had um.. yeah. But my mother named my sister and I after them!

I dont have any other fourms to go to and I knew furrys would understand, but on a scale from 1 to 10, how messed up is that?

that is pretty weird. I've heard worse names but the intent behind it puts it pretty high on the weird scale.

Maybe you could change your name to something cool like Max Fightmaster, Kimbo Slice or Rampage Jackson (These are all real names of real people)

That's rather funny, only change your name if you really don't like it. ^^
I've changed my name a fair bit... First starting at the age of 12 when me and my best friend decided to change our names to our favourite video game characters which rhymed 'cause we thought it was cool (we were Gex and Vexx).
Gex > Alexander > Xander > Xandi > Felix > Parsley > Alonzo > Loni
Some of my older friends still call me Xandi because it was their creation.
I'm trying to stick with Loni, hehe. ^^"

I LAWLED at it being over 9000!  But still it is pretty weird.  You should change your name to Nobody if you do.  That way if you poke somebody's eye out and someone askes who did it, they can say "Nobody did it!"

But I actually like the name Garrett, but only because of Brad Garrett.

The story of the "Mists of Avalon" sound familiar to one of the Arthurian legends... Arthur and Morgana were the two involved in that one.

Anyways, the "messed-up" factor doesn't really bother me since it's only a name, you make of it what you choose. Go find a name randomizer for males if you're not happy with what you have.
