Fustrated with making Fursuit concepts
« on: July 16, 2015, 12:06:11 AM »
Everytime I make a concept for a fursuit it's either I accidentally make it look like someone else's style or there are some design flaws. I've just got back in the furry community after years of ignoring it due to past judgmental friends; now that I got rid of those friends I'd like to get back on track to making fursuits. I'm an artist and have a different eye now when it comes to drawing things, so when I'm designing fursuits there is abit of a design flaw or I make it look too mainstream without even knowing until someone points it out. I have a two drawings for example on what I mean. Please give me your opinion or suggestion, either one.

So this is the first one I sketched you can see where there is a design flaw; as cute as it may be on paper but it wouldn't work if I made it into a suit because the eyes would be level to the muzzle and how would I possibly see out of that.

This is the second one but my friend pointed out to me it looks abit like Kendi the fursuiter, and I didn't even know who this fursuiter was till my friend showed me. I ripped the paper so much from erasing the eye just to please me. I haven't drawn like this in a very long time since my style is very skewed from years ago since  I've been studying and putting together a portfolio for art school.
