Great Lakes Fur Con is a new con that's taking place over Memorial Day weekend this year c: This'll only be its second year, so its really small still, BUT sometimes that's nice to experience. Last year it was in February so there wasn't much to do (stuck inside & low attendance due to weather) but there's high hopes for this year since the weather will be better
Follwing that, if GR isn't too far to travel for you, there's also an Artprize meet that takes place the end of September every year. A huge group of furries (lots of fursuiters included!) wander the streets of Artprize, checking out the art & entertaining the crowd. There's usually a hotel room reserved, too, if travel is an issue. I highly recommend this if you can, last year was my first year and it was really great
Non-furry conventions, like Shuto Con and Jafax, also usually have furry meetups one day
There's also numerous meets that happen all year; I don't go to many, but I know there's someone who hosts a monthly movie meet at their house, and monthly bowling meets in big cities like Lansing and GR. When the weather's nicer there's also a couple of BBQs and such that take place c:
Dunno if you have a Facebook or not, but there's a dedicated Michigan furmeet group which is a great place to find them.
