Age of ancients
« on: March 20, 2010, 03:40:59 AM »
Dawn started her day like any other by bathing in the ritual pool with which was filled with lifes essence from the sacrifices of the night prior. Each day another life was snuffed out to appease a God that was bringing "salvation" to those that passed away during the rituals. Little did they know that there life was feeding her own. During the "cleansing" ceremony no one was allowed into the ritual chamber. The golem brute and sword golem stood outside guarding the only entrance in. Once she was done bathing the pool was emptied so it could be filled with fresh "holy" water. She dried off and dressed in her usual black dress. She then exited the room and her to golems siliently followed her. She entered a cathedral looking building. Inside awaited a group of crusaders. It was time for the teadious task of keeping their faith in check. "what a joy." She said to herself before the brute golem opened the double doors for her and she put on the best smile one would ever see. "Greetings my fellow crusaders. I have spoken with Salvek the Redeamor he says that you have made him proud with the previous nights assenssions to him. The lord looks to us with a smile wishing though that more would come to his cause to cleanse the world of the non-believers and create a utopia for us all. But before we can have that happen we must unfortunately due battle with the un-holy ones. The lord is also saddened for the losses we have faced but each day brings us new recruits so long as we have Salveks will and love we as a family shall asend to a new age a new Dawn." The crowd cheers her name loudly as if she was rallying an army. Little did they know she was. She gave a sinister grin as she turned around and the door closed and the uproar was turned into a muffled bellow. She now entered a courtyard where she has numerously encountered blasphymers.
