Dear, fellow... furry members?

i cant remember why i became a furry but i dont regret anything because once you delve past the BS that is stereotyping you meet a fun,talkative group of individuals who just want to live their lives and embrace furry culture/art. One of the things that really irritates me is because most of these stereotypes are made by mud-chuckers who have a massive intolerance towards furries for whatever reason be it that they find anthro art akward to look at,flaming furverts but going after us instead, or because the stereotype gives them the idea that we as a group of people are meant to, or expected to be slagged off on a regular basis.

I don't have a problem with the furvert thing as long as you don't try to yiff anything that moves and harass people for cyber. As long as you keep that under wraps, then its ok by me. And as for the bi thing... Well, you can't help being that way, so... Whatever.

I cant hate anyone (even furverts) because being a furry doesn't revolve around the sexual aspects.
I define a furry as somone who likes anthropods enough to make one and enliken themselves to it, if that gives them a reason to act more like a furry in real life then good furr them, theyre happy, if they choose to take it to the bedroom then they shouldn't take it out of the bedroom, they should just keep it in adult only forums, im sure there r some.

Odd topic I find on my return to my lovely community; so the initial question is what makes some one a furry (or want to be) but to answer a question you would have to ask each individual fur, furry fan, or what ever you wish to call "them". What makes some one something is each diffrent and is affected by there rearing (look it up if you do not understand it), there tolerance of things, fetishes (doesn't have to be sexual), and stuff like that. Some furs might be similar but the little stuff is always the foundation.

The reason for most non furs to think its all gays and stuff may be because it started as mainly gays, gay is nothing short of taboo in the early days so another taboo is nothing to them but a straight person it may be.

As with the furvert stuff, we all enjoy certain things. Some people enjoy other things that some may not and may enjoy it in the more sexual ways. I think the only Miss understanding thing some non fur rs may have is people who enjoy other animals (if you caught what I was saying ) are most defiantly not fur rs (they may be but not for that reason). People who enjoy yiff, or yiffing, most of the time will not enjoy, or condone enjoying an actual animal.

And the reason I put "those" in quotations if you where wandering is because you speak as if we are some foreign alien that is nothing short of a blight to society

to answer your question why I want to be a furry, I see less racism in furrydom. also cat fur feels really good. 
and to answer why would people do things like look at pron all day and such, the way I see it, I may not understand why people do things, but I accept their right to be able to do it and move on. this train of thought has caused me to go slightly insane, but nothing serious.
