depends on what you consider to be 'a furry', i would say i have been one my whole life, but really this is the first community i have joined.

23 now, been a furry since either late 17 or early 18, so roughly 5 years. As Eeptog pointed out though, if community matters, then I'm brand new to this being a furry business. I've lurked elsewhere, but this is the first real community I've joined.

Technically u could say im not one officially because the most honest ive been about this is on this forum, and no-one in my real life knows :$

Unofficially i hav been a fury since i found out what it was about 4 +1/2 years ago when i was 12 aftr seeing Lucario for the first time, although like many others i would say since i was 3 +1/2 because of my attachment to reptillian athropod toys and dino models along with a dragon that i still have :*

I was one of the lucky ones to be born one. Yay!

Altho for a while after I watched a show with my dad.. I started hiding it for awhile... it was painful.. I hated every second of it, but I had to.. but it just got to a point where I could not stand being in the metal shell I put on. My fur wanted to be free, my muzzle wanted to nuzzle... So yeah. It was punishment and pain that I wish no one could suffer through...

the moment i realised i might be a furry was when i was 10, i just randomly said "i wish i had a tail" and then my bro gave me a strange look and walked away  o.O
