Ibanez ax120
« on: October 20, 2010, 03:32:42 PM »
Ok , so let me first start off with, I have no musical knowledge, so please keep that in mind :/ thanks :D

Well I wanted to get me an electric guitar, and I don't have very much knowledge on the topic, and insted of doing a hit and miss, because I don't have money to waste, I thought I ask my fur Friends if they would recommend getting a Ibaneze ax120.

Umm I guess I should say that I would be playing alternative/ post hard core
if you ever want to see Lil Johny again...

I'd say Ibanez is a good brand, dunno that much bout that specific guitar but if it's made by Ibanez is should be pretty good I'd guess, however if you just recently started playing or just want something simple to begin with, you could consider one of those cheap guitar sets, the quality isn't the best and neither is the sound but its cheap and works to begin with...

If you want something good and not too expencive, go with something by Ibanez, Fender, Gibson or Epiphone.. Not all are the cheapest but atleast they all make guitars of rather good quality.
I'd also recommend Dean if you wanna do some heavy metal and such, their pretty expencive but from my own personal experience, it's worth the money!

I always start off with stuff thats not for beginers, lol, when I learednd to skate, the first thing I did was run and jump on it to get my balnece, unstead of just standing on it lol

So, thanks, I'll try the Ibsmez I guess, unless there is some reason why I shouldn't jump into it?

Just looked up the ax120, looks like a nice guitar worth the money, might have its flaws but I'd guess its nothing you'd notice..
One review I noticed was complaining abit about the pickup switch being abit too loose, however, it really is nothing that will be too much of an annoyance, so yeah.. If you think it looks good, go for it!

Oh, btw, the same review said it was probably the best guitar for beginners :3

So I was looking at some places to get the Ibanez ax120, couldn't find any good one --__--

So I started to look at other guitars, and I found a Ibanez RG120 Electric Guitar, for like 175 (on sale) which is cheaper, and it also has good review so If any one wanted to comment on this one sain will give you a hug :D
