I've been looking for some new speakers to put into my laptop, but, to be honest, when it comes to accesories that don't involve personalized progrming and hours of dedication... I have no idea what I'm doing  :S
Any knowledge you can impart is greatly appreciated, just remember that this has to be financed by petty theft ( ;) lol) so, in other words, I can't go out buying expensive equipment.

Well, for manufacturers, I'd say Logitech is really good, I've heard Creative is pretty good too.

Well, for the actual speakers... I'd recommend the Logitech X-540 from having used that set for about 2 years.. the X-550 set should also be out...
That should be my suggestion..

JBL also makes a decent speaker as well. Iv had a set of there duets for 5 yrs. now and they still sound great.
