Base poetry

Poetry defininf the most basic of emoutions.
Here I demonstrate despair. In this requiem for the heart.

The man who was dead inside
He crept and he wallowed
Owing all to his sorrows
Never meeting a soul in time
Lurking in dilapidation
The ruins of a once-great nation
The man who was dead inside
“Why?” he would ask me
“O’ why must I die, tomorrow?”
To that I cannot answer
For he cannot live
“Why must we die, tomorrow?”
“Why can’t we just fly?”
“Why do we need die?”
Why can’t I answer me?
The man who was dead inside
His flesh fell right off him
His eyes where at once grim
A man who dies this night, tonight
“Why can’t you help me or
Why won’t you save me?”
Why do I deserve to die?
Questions and answers
None of them for me
“We all will die, tomorrow”
They beat and they ripped him
No soul left within him
They all deserve to die, tomorrow
No widows to mourn him
No friends just to see him
O’ why, why, why
To die?
This man who did nothing!
This beast that did something!
They all must die
Says I
I weep and I mourn them
They beat and the hoard them
Just die, die, die
Says I
No more do we see them
No more do we hear them
A lie, lie, lie
Says I
When folded in darkness
We witness the heartless
Tonight
Out tears and our sorrows
The hard years to follow
O’ why, why, why
Ask I
My breath escapes from me
My heart fades right from me
Just remember why
Says I
We all must ask this
“Did my death just mask this?”
Nei, nei, nei
Dies I

Life is an adventure! Sure, you'll probably spend most of it weeping uncontrollably, and on fire, but hey!
