Sakura-Con 2011? :3
« on: January 17, 2011, 07:33:57 PM »
Hey!
I was just wondering if any other furries were planning on attending Sakura-con this year?
This is my first year going, and I was planning on bringing my fursuit (along with my Fai cosplay <3) and wearing it for at least one of the days.
If any other fursuiters are planning on going, I'd love to meet up and say "Hi!".
^^

Cleaned up the thread. Didn't really need the page-long discussion of the confusion about thread placement.

I usually attend both SakuraCon and NorWesCon over the Easter weekend.  Sakura never really has much that interests me, so it is usually just an afternoon thing for me.  I get a room, and spend all three days at NorWesCon, which has an avid Furry attendance, and has Furry pannels...  not to mention a night life.  Sakura closes at 7 or 8pm, where NorWesCon technically never closes with open room parties.  While some parties (cough Biohazard) resemble drunken frat parties, there are many family friendly parties (Party in the Box) that offer hot food, as opposed to chips and dip, and non-alcoholic drinks.  It is a fantastic way to meet new people.
