New England Furs?

Ok, well im not sure if this is an already covered topic on here, but I could not find anything.

for those of you who do not know me yet, I am from RI, and currently in MA. These are great states an all, but I have noticed there seems to be a 'furry dead zone' in NE. I have stalked the internet high and low, and could not find any NE-local-forums, or events. That is what I was originally hoping for (dont get me wrong this forum is great, despite it being so large). So this thread is for all the NE-local furs out there. I am also wondering if anyone on here knows how to be in the know for NE events, or knows a good group of furries in NE (specifically in the tri-state area: RI, Mass, Conn), because I dont have any fur friends, and would certainly like to meet some fellow furs. I only know one other person who I know is a fur, but is in denial (but that is besides the point).

SO, there any furs from NE around here?
