Some of you have have heard of 'Milo' which is a malt/chocolate powder thing similar to Nesquik, you put it in milk. This little recipe should work with really any chocolate flavoured milk powder stuff whatever, though you may have to muck around a little depending on its sweetness and stuff.
Anyway, you'll need milk and milo (of course!), sugar, and vanilla essence. That's it. I'm guessing you probably know where this is headed.
Heat up the milk in a microwave for about a minute and a half, then add about 3 teaspoons of milo, and two of sugar. Mix it in, then add half a teaspoon of vanilla and give it a short stir until everything dissolves. Taste it, and add more of anything if you think it should go in.
The vanilla and sugar really makes a difference from just Milo and milk!
If you don't have Milo, experiment!
Oh and of course, if you have marshmallows, only heat the milk up for a minute, then at the end put two marshmallows on top and put it all in the microwave for another 30 seconds. We never have marshmallows on hand, but it's never a good hot cocoa without them!
