Okay! Today's manga is for all the manly men out there! Just kidding, but it is a seinen manga, so it is an experimental-type manga aimed for men. Josei is aimed for females. Anyways, today's manga.
AKUMETSU
This manga has been one of my personal favorites since its debut and finalization 3 years ago. Written by Yoshiaki Tabata and drawn by Yugo Yuuki. Akumetsu follows our very political, and high school heart throb, Shou Hazama. He is a high IQ student, and teachers' favorite. This year, Japan's history took a large turn with the re-election of a Prime Minister, and even moreso, the emergence of a vigilante who names himself Akumetsu. Akumetsu was a masked man who killed corrupt politics, and ONLY those he targeted and his mask blowing his own head off afterwards. However, there was more than one, and they all looked exactly the same. But not just physically. After investigating all the scenes, police have found that all the Akumetsus were genetically identical down to the cell. Even more peculiar, Akumetsu has the same hairdo as Shou. In fact, the two are one and the same. But how is this possible, and what is the purpose of Akumetsu? All this is slowly unraveled as you follow Shou's life, and the investigations of Officer Mamoru Yamada and Shou's love-interest, Shiina Nagasawa. See the beauty and web of complex plans and tie-ins of Akumetsu and his targets, as well as the physical, political, communal, and financial states of Japan, even the Prime Minister himself. Is Akumetsu really justice? Read his epic tale and be blown away in both intellectually and mentally in this action-packed 162-chapter manga!
