Now now.. back to the cooking x3
I'll be posting my recipes here for you all to try. If you do please tell me how it turned out and if you tweaked it any
Baked Herb PotatoesIngredients:Red potatoes ( with skin)
FRESH Rosemary ( the flavor will seep into the food way more potently x3 but if you can't find it feel free to use dried although.... it is a pain in the ass to fish quills out so u suggest one of those small cloth cookin gpouches maybe?)
Fresh garlic cloves
Paprika( powdered)
Oregano( dried)
Fresh Parsly ( dried works just fine)
Adobo ( e.e use sparingly it can be very salty, but hey I'm spanish this is a staple " food" haha)
Thyme ( powdered)
Olive oil
Butter
1. Wash and chop up the red potatoes ( i used about 10 or so medium ones? this fed 3 people+ enough for homefries the next few days)
2. take out your pan and coat the bottom of it with a bit of olive oil, enough so there's a yellow puddle but not overly ( i use a brush etc to make sure it gets every inch)
3. layer the rosemary and add in the potatoes
4. add the rest of the above spices to your liking
5. wash, peel, wash again, and crush your fresh garlic ( i use a mortar for this but a can would suffice or the back of a spoon if your good at maguyvering
)
6. add in as much butter as you like, I use a lot myself, atleast 2-3 tb spoons
and i mean the really big ones, also add in a bit of olive oil just to mare sure they will stay moist and it helps the flavor seep in
7. Takes about an hour or so to cook dependent on how big you cut the potato wedges...
* Make sure you flip the potatoes after about the first 20 mins and continue to do so every so often so they get an even coating of herby goodness @o@
- Recipe I came up with at home ^
Fish Dish I made to go with Previous mentioned potatoes:For the love of me i can not remember what kind of fish, but i suppose any would do
Ingredients:Fish ( was about 6 frozen portions they were small fish...)
A bag of spinach
Two tomatoes
Rosemary fresh
Olive oil
Fresh garlic
1. add a bit of the olive oil to pan
2. add in said spinach and tomatoes, crushed garlic and simmer ( closed pan) till they are cooked down
3. once that is done steam the fish on top with this and serve along with the mix/ potatoes mentioned above
* My sister doesn't like fish much and she even ate it
