I havent actually read this series myself,
But ive been seeing allot of stuff about it and its got me interested.
I was just wondering if anyone has read the series, because im really considering to buy them,
But I dont wanna get 3 books (Hunger Games, Catching Fire and Mockingjay) if their not any good.

Anyone read them? if so what did you think about them?

I read then a few weeks ago. Good books, found the first one to be a bit slow getting started and there is an event at the capitol in the last book that I didn't think flowed with the story very well but other than that they were good and worth reading...

I wonder if the movie is going to be any good?

I've read all 3 books and I'm not upset with it.
To be honest it's a bit of a twilight but better because it's not centred around the romance but the struggle of over throwing snow and then what follows.

I like how she tried to keep the book realistic though I find it funny how many people get shot multiple times and survive :P

I'd been told that the ending is very disappointing, but I thought it was a nice ending.
I don't like however how she kept adding in last minute twists and her chapter transition was annoying considering it's like "david ran up to score a goal" then the end of the chapter and starting the next chapter with "it's been a week since that goal and such".

I want to know what happens, not read a massive time lapse :P

All in all I can go watch the movies now.

The books themselves were great, great story, good characters etc. The only thing the REALLY annoyed me was the ending of the last book. It was very unsatisfying. It was like the writer thought: "Well, almost finished, let's speed it up (a LOT), and then I can go to (fill in a popular destination for the rich and famous) to relax and be arrogant." Sorry, probably overdid that last part, but its just so... Stupid...
