Hello, all! I'm new here

So...what to say? I'm really not very good about these sorts of things. Anyway, I guess I'll just jump right in. I'm Cardtrick, I'm 21, and from Texas. I want to get more involved in the community and this seemed to be a pretty good place to start.

Let's see...other information.... I'm currently a junior in college double majoring in criminal justice and sociology. My hobbies consist of video games, writing, and social research. Hoping to make a career out of the last one, but right now it's just a hobby. ^^;

My fursona is a grey tabby cat. As for a picture, I'm actually currently working on one right now. Drawing isn't a strong suit of mine, but I thought I would give it a shot

Thank you, everyone, for such a warm welcome! ^^ I'm sure I'll have a great time here.

@Greg Green: Sociology, actually. Though I've had my share of psychology classes. ^^ I'm much less interesting in the mind (ie psychology) and much more interested in how people interact with one another. As for what I want to research specifically, I'll probably be focusing on deviant subcultures/hidden populations. So, basically groups of people who are difficult to get data on by just implementing normal survey techniques. I'm also interested in the criminology side of sociology, so I'll probably be doing some research regarding criminals, why they do what they do, that type of stuff.

Hey, that's a very nice picture of your fursona!  :)  If you did indeed draw that yourself I'd say that drawing is a stronger suit of yours than you say  ;)
