movie maker needs help with programs

I make movies. you know record games and such and put them together as well as I can. I hate moviemaker that comes with the pc but I don't want a free program cause I've tried so many of tehm and they all suck. The only really good one that doesn't crash NEARLY as much as camtasia is vegas pro 12. I love that program, I've used a cracked version. but I cannot seem to get it to work anymore so now I need to either buy it or if you know of a cheaper but really as good a program then please tell me. I'm in two groups that do video games and im the video editor. I'm willing to use fraps as well I mean hell its better then camtasia!!! sorry im a little angry byt the way I used camtasia for less then 45 min and it crashed on me 7 times. so i'm a luittle miffed.

I use a lot of Mac programs for my editing, so I don't know much about options for Windows. There could always be something else making your programs crash so much though; it's not always the fault of the program itself.

I'm a big fan of Adobe Premiere Elements. It's been great to work with, and cheaper than working with a Corel that actually works, but costs and arm and a leg.
