table-top roleplaying, anyone?

dungeons and dragons, pathfinder, savage worlds...

i just got home from a savage worlds: war of the dead session in which we took over an immobile tank with shotguns and a tiger mom (we talked about it for half an hour and we still didn't figure out a tactical advantage to seizing it. our guy Chris just went with 'because tank' and we all agreed). this lead me to wonder; there has to be some gamers in the furry community.

so, fellow dice-slingers, what do you play?

Well, actually... > https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QCpNicyzWYXRq6P6h1V0AbLhgwdDrqHztZxbM9UbrDk/edit

Since you know a bit More about tabletop gaming than my 3 D&D sessions, could I get an opinion?

I know it's well away from being anywhere that can be called complete, but still...

okay wow you're doing your own game? holy hecker man 500 points to you omg and even anthro-based! reminds me of a game i played at GenghisCon a couple years ago. it was a savage worlds one-shot using furries. i forgot the name like just now, but it was a bucket ton of fun uwu

i'm gonna offer a bit of critique here~
first thing i notice is you seem to have the rules all figured out, and you just jump right into your species stats without explaining much?
one of the things my Savage Worlds book does is it puts Character Creation at the front (this includes species summaries, but not stats! it usually provides instruction on creating your character as well) so you get an idea of what you could be playing. the stats themselves usually don't show up character-sheet-form until the game rules section. i hope that makes sense D:

is it okay if i download this to read at school? i'd love to check out the rules and such in more detail owo

Thats fine XP. And thanks for the feed back. I know it's messy, but I'm the kind of person who makes a vomit-draft first XD.

I've been playing a heavily modified version of D&D since I was in elementary school. However, it's gotten to the point where one could hardly call it D&D. XD My friends and I have never followed too many of the rules, and we've pretty much developed our own system over the years. Most recently, a friend and I have kinda co-authored a completely different system from what I'd been using, although we're still very much in the experimentation phase with it. :)

Starting up my first campaign ever with my fiancee (it's pathfinder). Half elf ranger, true neutral. Just looking for more people in our area before we start. She's DM.

Fun AD&D related story: someone almost drinking an animate rope potion since they couldn't identify it. Woulda caused their intestines to do wacky things!

Oh man, I've always wanted to get into table top roleplaying, but I've never been able to find a single person around me that's interested, most of them just kind of give me a funny look if I even bring it up.

Bah!

Oh well, maybe one day, eh?

Might be fun to keep a log of, then make a comic from.
