Macaroni Salad

An American tradition. Seriously one of the easiest things to make with simple ingredients.


Elbow macaroni
Mayonnaise
Vinegar
Sugar
Salt
Black pepper
Thinly sliced celery
Onions
(Pepper is optional. I don't put it in mine.)

Cook macaroni like you would pasta. Drain it. Cool it. Put it in a bowl and add mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, salt and onions. Stir and then cover up and put it in the fridge. Ta-da

This is actually very popular with pacific islanders.
It is very commonly served as a side dish in restaurants and even in schools at lunch!
