Collaborative writings of Tyga and Trixsie.

In the land of Pendustria, long before there were trains, the skies were clear.  The woods were thick and wholesome and weather rarely harsh, if a little cold.  Yet for some that little cold was just too cold and the pleasant Summer not pleasant enough.  Trixsie the red fox was one such fussy creature.  A feral fox well past the end of her childhood, she had yet to settle down.  Truculent, the fox elders said of her, and idle.  The wise bears in the woods laughed and called her Miss Creant as they rolled on their backs.  "Nettles and briars for the lot of them" muttered Trixsie, after being told it was the end of Winter and time to find a mate.  She trotted to the Far Field.  It was north of Dark Trees, past the long fields and the apple grove.  The Far Field was as far as she had been.  You could see the Manburrow and the Farmanimals.  As a kitt, she and her friends dared each other to get close.  Trixsie had even caught a chicken once, before the White Dog Guardian chased her off.  BUt that is not where sh wanted to go.  She had heard from the Ocean Gulls, north of the Manburrow it was warmer.  Hot in the Summers and in winter not even light snows.  "Raaaaahhh, dumb snow!", she grinned at her own outburst.  She would definitely go before next Winter, but for now there was no hurry.  The Sun came out from a cloud and she closed her eyes in the warm rays and remembered the taste of chicken.

Now far to the north on that very same day a stranger was wandering, tired and alone, through a forest he had no name for. As he passed, the small woodland creatures all hid for they had never seen the likes of him before. He could hear them whispering as he passed "mummy what is it?" a small chipmunk was heard to say. "Whats he doing here?" Exclaimed a robin from her branch high in a tree. He ignored them all as he continued along.

He was a tiger, big, brawny and silent, a shadow among shadows as he worked his way through the trees, making for who knows where. Now he was not your normal tiger, where they had bright orange fur his was the white of new fallen snow, where their eyes were yellow his were a deep blue. Freak he had been called, and he had been cast to the outskirts of their society, forced to fight for every scrap of food, every chance at a mate. How he had hated them, the royal blood among the families, and now they were gone, his homeland in ruins. He shook his head violently a low deep growl rose rumbling from deep in his chest, causing all the creatures within hearing to bolt for their dens. "This is not the time to think of these things" he growled angrily at himself.

He prowled on through the forest, his large paws making no sound in the loose leaves littering the ground, a change in the light caused him to pause as the forest melted away in front of him. Stopping beneath the last tree he sank to his haunches as he surveyed the landscape ahead, with a quiet sniff of disgust he noticed the open fields the ramshackle collection of man structures the farmanimals destroying what little there was left of the once great forest. "Manthings, always ruining what they dont understand" He muttered to himself. Looking at the vast open expanse he decided it was to dangerous to move during the day, the manthings did not scare him but their sharp sticks and tame canines irritated him and they would delay him to long. He snorted and rose to his feet, melting back into the shadows of the forest searching for a quiet spot to curl up and wait for the dark.

((I know this sort of looks like a roleplay but it isnt, this is just how we decided to introduce the two main characters of our story. When they meet the two story lines will merge into one))
