My fan-fiction

Hey, here is the first chapter of a fan fiction project im working on. Can someone please read trough and give me some tips and tricks? Its set around 200 years after the end of the last book in the Inheritance series by Christopher Paolini. What do you think about how it is so far and other stuff, since english is my secondary language there is probaly some gramatical errors and feel free to point them out.

Edit: The setting is around 200 years after the main series, a massive civil war have torn the land apart in five different regions. Right after the ending in the real books, everything is peacefull and nice, but then there is war and now everyone is trying to survive.
