I feel as though I owe my life to the fandom

The reason why I say this is because like I've mentioned in a few other threads I started getting more involved with the community more when I was in a pretty dark and depressive state of mind. Though I think that if it weren't for the uplifting sense of humour that everyone seems to have on here I would have gotten worse.
 When I joined the fandom I was 12 and I didn't really do much with its community. Fast forward about 3 or so years and I joined a forum called gaming furever. Then s**t started to hit the fan. I slowly started to fall out with my dad. Then I started to get bullied at school because I was a part of the fandom. Then a few months ago my mums closest friend died of a blood clot and she plummeted into a state of grief. I didn't like seeing my mum this way. So as you might expect it was taking its toll on me, it still does as the guy was like an uncle to me, and I think she's just trying to hide her emotions now. After that during August one of my friends dad died of an aggressive brain tumour that killed him a month after being diagnosed with it. In the same week my other friend, mace, invited me to a private chat over xbox live and told me that his dad had killed himself. So know by this point I'd hit rock bottom and had been contemplating killing myself because I couldn't take it anymore. Then I joined this forum and everyone attitude was was so cheerful and happy that I Carried on as best I could.
In summary I believe that if it weren't for this forum I would have done the stupid, pointless and selfish thing. So thank you fm to everyone on this forum for giving me hope.
