Bad Restaurant experiences

What are some of your worst restaurant experiences. I have three in particular.

The first one happened a few years ago. I was going to Burger King. I went during the afternoon at about 2:00 to dodge the lunch rush so that it wouldn't be too busy. Boy was I wrong. There was a massive line that went halfway across the store. I was so hungry and I figured everywhere else was probably the same, so I decided to bite the bullet and stand in the line. After about a minute or two this lady walks in yapping away on her cell phone with this obnoxious spoiled brat of a kid. The kid was screaming, crying, and shouting four letter words. And the mother was too engrossed in her phone to do anything. I politely turned around and asked the kid to hush up a bit, after that he started crying and being extremely loud. When the mother was FINALLY done on her phone she looked down and asked the kid why he was crying. He pointed at me and claimed that I was "being mean" to him. I tried to explain to the mother that I was only trying to ask him to quiet down a bit. She got really mad, giving me this huge lecture about how "I can't tell her kid what to do" and "Only she can raise him". To make thing worse, the line was barley moving. Luckily the manager came along and kicked them out, but I was still in a bad mood after having to wait in line for twenty minutes while being screamed at.

The second one happened at a Dave's Barbecue. I was trying to enjoy a lunch with my friends when some couple with a baby sat directly across from us. The baby was very annoying. It screamed and cried the whole time, while the mother tried shoveling food in it's mouth. The baby kept spitting out chunks of partially chewed food everywhere, and it wasn't necessarily appetizing to watch. I say if you are too young to feed yourself, you are too young to eat at a restaurant.

The final and worst one happened very recently. I was at a Korean restaurant with my girlfriend. There were only two people running the place and neither of them knew English very well. It took them forever. We didn't get our food until at least an hour after we ordered it. And when it came, we accidentally got something we didn't order. We tried asking the waiter to take it back, but he ignored us. Then after we were done, we were still charged for it. I tried asking them politely to take it off our bill, but they gave us an attitude and screamed at us in Korean. Neither of us have returned since.

So, those were mine, What are yours?

Haha I am a restaurant veteran. I used to work at one of the busiest restaurants in the world, on holidays we could expect 4 hour waits.

There was this one pest who's order could not be completed because we ran out of one of her orders due to extreme busyness. She was furious that we didn't tell her ahead of time. We told her we just now ran out and told her asap. She replies "but you STILL should have told me earlier!!!". We end up switching her order to something else, which resulted in a $1.00 refund due to price difference. We modified the cc transaction, printed the receipt to show that we refunded $1.00, gave it to her. She immediately whips out her phone and checks her bank to find that the transaction had not instantly gone through. (It was a Sunday). When it wasn't shown, she demanded that we take a dollar out of the drawer for her, despite us showing her the receipt. She was holding up the entire line and causing a scene just to rob us of one dollar.  >.>

The worst thing that's happened to me is that I found a rubber band in my soup while eating at Outback.
Nothing spectacular, but was surprising when it happened.
