Okay, so I've been a licensed counselor for almost 8 years, and I've been in several disaster reliefs in the past 9. However, despite all this, my nerves are completely shot right now as I'm counting down only 11 days until Vee and I get married. I've faced many obstacles and tournaments of all kinds in my life, but this marriage is on a whole new level. I've been seriously fine and confident about it up until this last Saturday, which is the 2-week mark. Now it's the last 11, and nerves I thought were solid fortresses are now all collapsing on top of me. WHAT DO I DO!?!?!?!? HOW SHOULD I CALM MYSELF!?!?!? THOSE YEARS OF LEARNING PSYCHOLOGY AND ABOUT THE HUMAN MIND ARE NOT WORKING RIGHT NOW!!!!

I believe being nervous before a wedding is quite normal and natural.

Just remember that, although marriage is a big decision, it isn't some decision that could make or break you I don't think. If it doesn't work out (unlikely) then not toooooooooooo much harm done, but it probably will work out and everything will be fine. All you're doing, when you get to the nitty gritty of it, is adding a new label on your relationship and elevating your relationship in legal status. Yes, marriage is more than that with love and stuff, but fundamentally that's what it is, so perhaps just realizing that might make it better? But I dunno xD
