Within the burning town; the sounds of screams and terror ran rampant in the chaos. Stores were trashed, houses were engulfed in fire, and the people who weren’t in sheer panic raced to tend to the injuried.
“Okay! Make this easy on yourself, ya useless sacks of feathers! Hand over the crystals and I’ll only beat half of ya to a bloody pulp! Deal!?” the head leader of the lizard crew laughing crazily.
Wearing a ripped up pair of shorts, and carrying a rather menacing looking bat; the crazed reptile casually walked through the burning town as his lackies proceeded to run wild. Shifting his head to the side; the lizard leader watched an innocent bystander try to flee past him; only to quickly turn catch him with his bat upon the side of his head.
“BLAM!” the lizard blurted out as the bystander fell; blood flying through the air from the impact.
Quickly jumping over the downed individual, the lizard kneeled, “Oh! That looked like it hurt! Well! I know just the remedy for that!” returning to a stand and reeling back the metal bat, “Say ‘Ahhh’!” turning to swing the weapon across the face of the poor canary before the lizard found himself violently tackled across the street before the weapon connected.
The lizard would grunt out before quickly making it back to his feet to glare at his tackler. In a flurry of feathers Hayate bounded back to his feet as he took a combative stance towards the head lizard.
“You’re under arrest by order of the ARO! Put your weapon down Now!” the hawk yelled out; stern and focused.
The lizard would ease his stance to fling his bat across his shoulders before grinning, “ARO. A… R… O… Oh! Wait, wait! Don’t Tell Me! The ‘Amazingly Retarded Offspring’!? Am I close? Can I get a hint?” the lizard laughed loudly to his own joke. “Quite frankly I could give a rats ass who the hell you are!” sticking out his tongue.
Hayate would grunt in surprise as he noticed the piercing within his tongue. “A Crystal!” he huffed.
The lizard would just give a devious laugh as the crystal gave off a blueish glow; the body around him quickly covering in harsh electrical currents. “Whoever you are…” pointing his bat to the avian. “YOUR DEAD!” a bolt of electricity firing towards the hawk.

Flying swiftly through the burning town, the sparrow scanned the area for hostiles. “Cowards!” he yelled out as he gave a flap of his wings to land; walking through the burning wreck of the town square.
Coming up towards the fountain; Conner glanced around before perking his head to an audible laugh. Quickly turning to face the sound; the sparrow would catch a glimpse of one of the henchman of the lizard darting into one of the burning buildings. “Get Over Here!” the military avian quickly taking flight to chase down the hostile.
Flying past a wall of fire; Conner quickly take in as much of his surroundings as he could through the smoke before slowly walking through the flames. A minute pasted as the smoke finally caught up with the ranger; coughing heavily before catching another glimpse rush down the hallway nearby. Growling, the annoyed sparrow quickly turned the corner to find the pathway blocked by debris. Taking a step back, he coughed, “H-how did he…” being cut off by a dark laugh.
“You sure are stupid.” Quickly glancing up to notice the lizard clinging to the upper wall of the second floor, “SURPISE!” leaping off to dive bomb the sparrow.
Douglas and Nina made their way through the town of flames. “Hey, Nina!” the crane called out to toucan.
The poor colorful avian looked on in horror from the senseless destruction of the village. “I… I remember this place. It was so beautiful back then. I… I can’t believe it’s…” saying softly.
“NINA! FOCUS!” the crane yelled out; the toucan quickly snapping out of it. “We have a job to do. Let’s get on with it.” The crane huffed before landing upon one of the busier roads; still bustling from the chaos.
The toucan looked out to notice the dozen injured among the masses before dipping her head, “Ri-Right.” Closing her eye’s briefly.
The crane’s eyes began to light up before pointing. “There! Lacerations to the leg! Losing blood fast! We gotta move!” both rushing to aid the poor man.
“I… have to stay focused. Too many people are counting on me.”
