I got a buddy in cape town and the stuff he tells me about scares the hell outta me and, I dont even live there, I cant imagine what its like living there

You may have a different opinion from your experiences, I have mine. The cops aren't out there to protect anyone, they're there to uphold the law and only if they choose to. There's a difference. They've made that pretty clear up here.
