This has got to be one of the best tutorials I've seen in a long time, and I've  seen so many people, including myself, make these mistakes. It's no surprise then that this is the tutorial used by Disney to teach their animators and comic artists back in the 70s and 80s

http://sevencamels.blogspot.com/2006/09/comic-strip-artists-kit-redux.html
"Parents always think kids are wasting their youth, and always have done [so] down through the millennia," says Tom Forsyth of RAD Game Tools. "'That Ug, always holding things. His front paws will develop in funny ways. Why can't he walk on all fours like normal proto-hominids?' And so, whatever the kids spend the most time doing, that's always what parents think is a waste of time, and what is corrupting their lives. It doesn't matter what that is. If all they did was homework, parents would be worrying that their kids aren't becoming well-rounded people. And, in fact, parents do this - enrolling math nerds in karate classes and the like. There is no way to win - parental paranoia ensures that kids are always doing the wrong thing."

http://bittersweetdisease.deviantart.com/gallery/4251501 is a great resource for beginner artists.  For some reason she forgot to do heads but aside from that she covers everything else, even how to transfer anime styles to realistic proportions.  I've learned a lot from these tutorials and if you *need* a head tutorial she sort of has one at the beginning of her "anime to Realistic" tutorial series.
It's cool, just ignore what you see above this signature.  I didn't just spend time constructing a valid argument for you to consider (at least, that's what you can tell yourself).

I'm trying to draw my fursona before making a request for one, so far its going bad.  X3
I have basic outlines but I'm struggling with the curves and propotions.
But what I need is a tutorial for is making Templar armor.

If any of you want to try out making my fursona go ahead, ill tell you the information via personal message.
