Can I get a critique on a sculpture?

It's not quite a drawing like the usual fare here, but I'm starting a project that's a bit of a mix between a fursuit and a ball jointed doll ^^' I plan on furring and adding details over sculpted body parts and joints. But anyway, the doll I'm trying to create is a Russian blue cat named Boris, and I'm working on the head right now.
Here's some pics (paper eyes added to get an idea of real thing):

Aside from a general critique, I'm looking for two things. First, I want to know if he looks enough like a cat, or if not what I can do to fix it. I'm thinking the muzzle is a bit big and I'll have to carve it down more ^^' I also want to give him more expression, such as a slight smirk. Something to make him less bland.
I welcome any critique for him, whether it be good or harsh
