What about these as examples:

So you can create an open area and in the background a treeline. The trees don't have to be complicated at all either

I was going to use the one with the trees, but then I remembered that there's a flying dragon. I honestly cbbs to draw a lotta trees just for the flight/perspective scene LMAO

Also, you could make it easier to draw something like this:

You don't have to draw each tree then individually or spend much detail, the trees are in the background and you can blur it out or copy rows of trees, etc.
