When I worked maintenance, I would've put a part with that much damage as 'failed' and went for a replacement. I wouldn't use that any longer than absolutely necessary if I were you.

All the more reason why I said "I wouldn't use it any longer than absolutely necessary" on that portion.

Based on the location and how it looks. It should be safe to use in a pinch.
But the recommended action is still to replace it.

In the terms of the maintenance language, I would "Red X" that or "Lock Out" that. It is not exactly safe to use that as it is, despite no damage to the insulation. The deformity to the conductor (and if there's any underlying insulation if it is a conductive 'tube' instead of a solid pin) ruins the ability for it to perform at spec. There's no way that could go through the strain of normal use.

i will not post the pic but i know details of what went bang

a 20 amp wall socket that caused the first (just minor burn)

the power distribution box 3 phase 800 amps (worse and on the same arm)

i just wouldnt trust it at all unplug it and cut the cord take it to the local dump so no one can mess with it

EDIT: its not nice to see and i wont send the pic to many trust me when i saw it from him i nearly threw up it made me that sick

Well i'm thinking of replacing it as fast as possible but i live in the middle of nowhere so my sister is trying to do commissions so we can buy a new one. The first one (not this one) was defective and caught a on fire a bit but we thought it was from not caring for it but it was because it was faulty in the first place. Also the second i got was a bootleg charger not ac adapter so that died and melted this ac adapter but i forgot that i switched the bootleg with the genuine in the first place so the bootleg caused it to overheat and melt (probably overvoltage to the point it melted or something) but i'm using the genuine recharger at the moment.
