Of Twilight and Darkness

Dokota looked up at the clock. 12. that couldnt be right. it looked as if it was 7. he then heard a noise behind him.

"What's your name?" She asked breathlessly, panting loudly.

se drew back a bit and looked about the darkness wondering where everyone had got to

Alain had drawn both of his revolvers before he had turned to face the voice behind him, only to sigh when he realized they meant him no harm. "Hile, sai." He tapped his throat three times and smiled, taking an overly-exaggerated bow. "So, may I ask your name?... and perhaps where I am?"

The next town wasn't a bad place to be in, it was just...dull. Colour was non-existant here and everybody was slowly shuffling about at a dreary pace.
At least that was what Flames first thought. It wasn't until almost everyone in town suddenly pulled out various weapons, brandished them at him and moved in for the kill that Flames changed his opinion. He was home here, between light and darkness: Enough light to feel comfortable and many shadows to fade in and out of, like a dream. Perfect...

she looked about "wnder if.."she questioned stepping slowly out of the darkness

Clarisse looked at the strange fur before her, smiling. "I am Clarisse and I only know that I'm twenty miles west of Stonehaven." She looked him up and down, stance tense and relaxed simultaneously. She let her fangs slip over her bottom lip and shrugged. "Other than that, I am as lost as you, I'm afraid. Friend or foe?" She asked, curtsying.

Flames snarled at the attackers, revealing barred teeth and eyes lost in the madness that was gripping the world. He sliced and hacked his way through the onslaught, relentless in his furious, yet oddly accurate, strikes. Steel clashed on steel as the heavens cried in anguish, adding dark rain to the crimson feast that fed Flames' blade.
Indeed, this truly was madness...

she looked about, her face fukll of confusion . it sounded lke a battle was emitting ner by "she sttered her head to the left keping her body still and looke questioningly into the space, she decided to go invetigate and tentaviley walked over

Since the fur didn't respond, she lowered her head and slipped into the offensive stance, tail swaying agitatedly.

(Dave, you're up.)

Flames panted heavily as the last of the 'rain' fell and the final corpse collapsed to the ground. He scanned the horizon for any more before getting up, removing the blood from his blade with a stylish manuveur and sheathing it, ready to set off again. He walked through the town, scouting around for both supplies and a good spot to catch a few hours of rest.
The dark clouds above grew even darker as the sky trembled in pain before crying out tears of sorrow and anguish as black as the darkness that was claiming the world. The black rain would pollute countless water sources and kill anyone foolish enough to drink it. Flames sighed and continued his search, the rain dripping of his body, causing black streaks to run down his fur...

she peered round a rock to see a tall, and black streaked fur walk by. smirking she watched him walk by for a minute and wondered whever she could join him, after all there seemed nothing better to do
