Shakespear's B-Day!
« on: April 20, 2008, 04:25:06 PM »
Hey everyfurr!
As you may, or may not have known, today (Sunday 20/4/08) is William Shakespear's Birthday.
As to celebrate. I went into London. We saw many, greatly interesting things at the Globe Theatre. Where I learnt much
more about Shakespear and his work. Towards the end of the day, you could join in one of the "Work Shops."
So, becuase I love being on stage and acting, I signed up to read a short piece of Shakespear. I did.

(I look a bit awkward in the one above. It was only becuase I was moving and the camera angle)
When I had finished, I came down from stage to be greeted by A news reader for Egypt.
He told me that my part was very well done and interesting. He then asked me if I would like to be interviewed. I replied "I'd love to!"
He then led me to where his 1 man team was with a camera.
He asked me a few questions, about my acting career, what I thought about Shakespear and his work etc.
I answerd all his questions as best I could, with as much detail as I could muster. I thought I did very well.

The interview went extreamly well, and I will most likely appear on "Egyption news" as the Man put it.
I will also-very likely- appear on UK News. As there were MANY cameras there, and I waltzed right past most of them. So Look out for the "Egyption news" if you can get it.
And look out for Shakespears birthday at the Globe in the UK news also.
I hope you all celebrated in some way. Shakespear is one of the great master minds in British History. HAPPY BIRTHDAY WILL!

(The funy thing is, I saw the 2 men earlier interviewing someone else. I thought"Ah...I WISH I could get interviewed"...What a coincidence!)

EDIT: It MIGHT appear here:   http://www.egyptdailynews.com/

We just read "Julius Caesar" about a month ago in school. It was good.
