The first chapter in my only furry related story, Star of Eternity. I don't know how well the story will go over on this site because the swearing, I tried to censor it. (The unsensored version is here:

Star of Eternity: Chapter 1
Flashing red lights. An annoying constant beeping noise. and an annoying lady's voice telling everybody that the entire ship will self-destruct. Everyone managed to get to the escape pods, so the only two left on the ship were Tuan Fosburgh and Michal Khemmanivong. It was all the result of something snapping in Jacinto. He went crazy and set the ship to self destruct and took off in one of the escape pods
Tuan and Michal offered to stay behind to see if they could stop the self-destruct sequence sinece the ship was their only way back to their planet. "****! I didn't know that retarded bastard was smart enough to do this!" shouted Tuan as he punched the control panel.
"What's wrong, can't you stop it!" shouted Michal over the sound of the alarms.
"No! He somehow locked the controls, even if the ship doesn't blow up, it's heading straight for the planet. It'll be destroyed in the atmosphere!"
"****! Let's get the **** outta here!" shouted Michal as he started to run for the corridor.
"It's no use, there's no more escape pods left," said Tuan calmly, as he sat in the captain's seat.
"The ship will self-destruct in ten seconds." The annoying lady's voice started the countdown.
"What re we going to do!?" shouted Michal.
"
Nine."
"You ever notice how all these self-destruction sequencs have the same lady doing the countdown?" asked Tuan.
"
Eight."
"What the hell is wrong with you!?" shouted Michal.
"
Seven."
"Huh, did you say something?"
"
Six."
"Don't go freakin' out on me now!" shouted Michal as he punched the control panel, totally destroying it.
"
Five."
"Nice work, dumbass," laughed Tuan.
"
Four."
Suddenly there was a flash of bright light that engulfed Michal and Tuan. They couldn't hear the countdown anymore, so they thought the ship had exploded prematurely. The next thing they knew, they were standing in darkness. The only thing they could see was a small fire burning a little ways away from where they were standing.
A voice that sounded like a soft growl from the other side of the fire said, "Looks like you actually did it."
"You actually doubted me!" cried another voice.
"Uh, n-no, not at all," said the other voice quickly.
"Hey Tuan, are we dead?" whispered Michal.
Tuan just shook his head. His eyes hadn't quite adjusted to the darkness, but he heard something running towards him. Suddenly he found himself lying on his back with a body on top of him. "What the-" he started but was cut off by whoever was on top of him.
"Iwassoworrieditwouldn'tworkthistimebutitactuallyworkedandI'msohappythankyoufornotdieingthistime," the voice sounded feminine, but was talking at an incredibly high speed it was hard to understand.
"Hey, Michal, you catch any of that?" asked Tuan from his position on the ground.
"I don't know, might be some underworld dialect," said Michal.
"Else, why don't you let the poor creature get up," said the low growling voice as something was moving towards them. "And try talking a little slower while you're at it."
Else, the one who had apparently tackled Tuan got up and helped him to his feet. When he grabbed the hand that was in front of him, he noticed that it was furry, and there were pads on the palms. When his eyes finally started to adjust, he could make out an outline, but the shape was weird.
"Why don't you come closer to the fire so we can have a better look at you?" said Else as she grabbed Tuan by the arm and pulled him closer to the fire.
When they were in the fully lit area around the fire, Tuan and Michal were taken aback by what they saw, but they showed no outward surprise. The one identified as Else, appeared to be a female fox with a human form. She had fur that was as red as the flames with a fluffy red tail that looked like a fireball. She was scantily clad in a loin cloth and a thin piece of fabric covering her breasts. She had long braided hair, the same color as her fur, with beads and feathers tied into the braids.
The second figure made Tuan and Michal the most nervous. It appeared to be a male lion, with a human form as well. He was easily twice the size of the two humans, and his muscles made him even more intimidating. He wore a loin cloth with an old fashioned belt, which had a rusty saber attached to it. His fur was thin, but visible, making him look more fuzzy than furry, and he had a fiery red mane. When he grinned, he flashed his sharp pointed fangs.
"Hey, Tuan, I think I would've preferred to be blown up," whispered Michal.
"Shut up! They saved our *****," growled Tuan.
"Maybe we really did die? What if hell is filled with furries?" whispered Michal.
Tuan smacked Michal in the back of the head and shouted, "Show some **** respect!" Then he bowed quickly to the two who had apparently saved them. "I'm sorry for my friend's insolent behavior. You saved our lives and for that you have our thanks."
"They are strange creatures," said the lion, as he looked down at the fox. "Maybe you did fail again."
Else elbowed the lion in the gut and said, "Lestat! They're showing us some respect, why don't you do the same."
"Forgive me," he said softly. Then he turned back to Tuan and Michal bowed.
Else walked over to Tuan and said, "This is probably your first time seeing one of our kind, but I assure you, we mean you no harm."
Tuan looked around awkwardly, then he replied, "Actually, we have a few friends that are of a similar nature to you. Um, not to be rude or anything, but what's going on?"
Else was about to answer but she was cut off by a voice coming from the darkness. "She was attempting to summon the spirits of great warriors from another world, but it looks like she plucked a couple creatures from another dimension instead."
A male coyote, similar to Else and Lestat, came walking into the night. He had grey fur with patches of white and light brown. He wore a loin cloth and around his neck he had a necklace made of bone. "Else is learning the abilities of a shaman, under my tutelage," said the coyote, "but she hasn't quite gotten the hang of some of the basic skills."
Else looked at the ground, hiding her shame. "On top of that, she insists on trying to use the more advanced abilities without training," said the coyote, glaring at Else, causing her to shrink back from him.
"It's a good thing she did," said Tuan, sensing the tension between teacher and student. "If we hadn't of been transported here, me and my associate would be spread throughout the stars."
The coyote looked at Else, then his expression softened. "It appears you have done some good after all."
