They will bring you into this world only to make you wish you weren’t ever apart of it.
They will teach you that everyone is the same yet they will continue to segregate you.
They will continue feeding you scary stories about fictional monsters while real people are the ones they should have taught you to be afraid of.
They will scold you about running with sharp objects but later they will teach you how to hurt others with those very same objects.
They held you in their arms to protect you only to cast you aside, alone and defenseless to face whatever may come when they tire.
They convinced you that you could be whatever you wanted, if you tried hard enough.
Look at yourself in the mirror.
Is this what you wanted to be?
They said that you should be different and original but they demanded you to conform to society’s norms.
They told you that you are perfectly normal yet they try stuff pills down your throat to “cure” you.
They soothed you with sweet words that everything would be alright.
They lied.
Nothing is fine.
