Fire + Darkness fursona help
« on: April 01, 2010, 11:58:27 AM »
Okay, so, yet again i'm stuck on a fursona (after breaking up with my last boyfriend I no longer need the female fox since that was his idea). I held a contest on another forum that I frequent to design me a fursona that combines fire and darkness together and i'm stuck on the four designs that I posted in the poll, so I would like you guys to help me. For those of you that know me, which one do you think fits me best and why? And for those of you that don't, which do you like the best and why? Please vote and explain your answer. Not sure how long i'm gonna leave this open for, maybe 2-3 days? C: (The options are clickable btw.)

Personally I like the third one. It's simple, but you can do so much.

I'd really like it if #1 and #3 could be combined. :P I like the third one the best because it looks kind of "mysterious", but I think if you took some more of the fire aspects of the first one and stuck them on #3 it would look less like just a black wolf.

I like number three. It's a great combination of fire and darkness without going for the obvious dragon connection. The dark flickering fur suggests a ghostly shape shifting ability, while the molten paw pads and glowing face features makes the character look like it is full of bubbling lava on the brim of spilling over.

Well, for one thing, it's a neat design, but it's simple, so it will be great when you have to draw it a lot (and usually cheaper if you get commissions done of it, lol) and to me it just looks like some sort of hell hound.. It looks awesome because it looks like it's burning from the inside which may or may not be something debilitating for it; and that aspect itself can help build on stories or personality. It also looks like something you'd see lurking in the dark, and I love the fact that it looks like it's made of the elements itself, almost like a Golem, but it's a wolf instead.
