Kitt tightened the half-hitch not he was working on... the Captain wanted the ship ready to sail soon and so he worked away to get the sails and rigging prepared... He jumped in fright as he was tapped on the back, drawing his falchion blade hurriedly he turned to see Dixon...
"Oh... Sorry there... Dixon, was it?" He sheathed the sword, sliding it back into his belt.... "Crew quarters are below deck, theres more n' enough hammocks for everyone... The ship may not look it, but its cargo holds are spacious for its size...."
Glancing over towards the captain's cabin he answered Dixon's second question... "We set sail when the captain says..... hopefully it should be soon.. supplies are aboard, he's just goin' over some ancient map right now..." Kitt stopped, perhaps telling too much detail about the map wasnt in his best interest... especially with Black being so protective over it... In an attempt to change the subject he motioned to Dixon's guitar across his back...
"You're the guy who played in the tavern.... good to have a musician aboard, does wonders for crew morale... I remember, on the first ship i sailed, we had a wolf who played the accordion.... wonderful music he played.... Kitt stopped again, apparently looking into the distance over Dixon's shoulder. He muttered under his breath quietly "And Black killed him.... killed all of them, but me.... every last man, and woman, aboard the savvy blue..." He shook himself, looking back at Dixon... "Well yeah... hope to hear you play soon.... and welcome aboard.."

In his cabin, Captain Black pored over his map, nose almost touching the aged cloth.... He muttered under his breath, tracing a route across the map with one callused finger... "Over the Sargossa sea.... through the black rocks.... to the bay where the second map lies... the second map pieces the next part of the puzzle.... all leading to my ultimate treasure..." He leant back from the map, apparently happy with his plan... But whether to explain it all to Kitt... the boy had proven his loyalty before...... he'd have to tell him at least part of it... though perhaps the truth about the treasure was best left untold for now....
