My wolf furry. Please, need criticism and advice!
« on: September 01, 2010, 05:47:59 PM »
Before you read this, know that I am not experienced in drawing, just doodling, and I tried very hard to make this picture look really good. It was actually my first attempt at a female furry.

I was inspired to draw this picture after I saw my girlfriend sitting in this position. It looked so cute and sexy that I couldn't get that image out of my head. I barely had any skills in drawing, just a lot of doodling, and I really wanted to make this picture look good, so I learned about anatomy and how to draw people. After learning all that, I combined all I liked into this one picture: Women, furries, medium hair, and a wolf. This is actually my first attemp at drawing a furry female and being in a position  that has a few bends.

Please, please, please, I need as much critisism and advice as possible since I'm really liking drawing furry art now. I even added a little signiture so I could feel important ;)

Please excuse the very bad quality since I only had a webcam and the wires for the scanner are missing :(

Now that I look back at it, I think I've seen some mistake I made in the drawing: The arms looks too skinny, the shoulders look too wide, the foot looks a little small, and the eyes don't look that normal, the hair could use some work, and the head looks a little too far up.

*It seems that this forum doesn't allow nudity, so I tried to cover up certain parts*

It's not that bad at all! I fail at drawing furry...(I stick with human or non-muzzle in general)....so to me it looks great. The arms and legs are really skinny but that might just be me?

You are actually pretty good, the only thing I see is the arms should be alot wider. You did really well in my opinion, with the position and all that. I love the way you did the legs and torso, they look realistic. You have a nice style and have alot of potential. I've heard people say that studying anatomy helps them get the different parts in proportion.

I actually liked drawing people so much that I went and bought an Intuos Wacom Tablet ;) I wanted to make my first furry drawing look very special. Please tell me how you think it came out. I'm still new to using tablets, and I tried to get the shading and color right.

Not bad...
Umm... Lets see... The body's proportions look like they need to be tweaked minorly, but other than that, its an awesome piece. :)

I've made a few more drawings, and this is my second drawing that I'm working on with a Wacom Tablet. I'm still new to all of this, but what do you guys think of this?

I think I should make the eyes smaller  :(

It's still not done. I barely finished the top half.

Hmmm. The shadows should be darkened and blured more, and her ears look a bit off. The hair shadows should also be a bit more solid. Other than that, it looks pretty cool. :)

I made an outline for a male. It looks a little different than the male drawings I usually see, but I tried to make him look mean and strong. His head is not done yet, and I'm working on a new one to use for him. I made a placeholder face and head for it lol, so don't be shocked when you see it. I made him without clothes because I wanted to see how I was doing with the anatomy. (Don't worry, you won't see anything inappropriate) His hand also looks like it has an infection lol. I'm gonna really need to work on that. I think his right hand came out alright, but there's something about it that makes me feel like I'm missing something.

Tell me what you think about it ;)

i think it turned out really good (apart from the fake face), but the hands look like they fit together with the spices. the overall body looks really well drawn, but don't take my word for it I'm not an artist just a lousy writer.                      keep up the good work, :/
